Kerri looks to Frank. "I don't need anything here, Mountain, but I think you need to find out more about that thing, if you can."

Jack says "I can show you. I don't have to hide anymore now that it's dead"

"Dagmar, please get one of the leftover porkchops from the fridge and bring it to me."

Frank nods, laces his boots back up, kisses Oak on his head, and heads through the house to the backdoor of the Lodge and to the barn.

Jack leads Frank outside, to show the stable.

And there it is, a giant jack in the box type monster, a teacher's nightmare face with little x es over the eyes now, the coil broken... the pieces battered.

And Star giving Frank a look like Stormwake getting hurt is a problem with management

Frank puts a hand out, holding Jack outside with a gesture. He crouches, looking. Careful.

Dagmar returns with the porkchop, still wearing an odd expression.

The chimera is truly dead, in time it will possibly break further or vanish.. or it can be scavenged.

Jack holds out the hand "He was really brave... Brogan and Oak and Stormwake... they all were. I.. I'm sorry I hid but I was told maybe it's best I did?"

Kerri takes it from her. "Thank you," then hesitates, noting Dagmar's expression. But then she turns to Oak, and solemnly intones, "For your brave and selfless service to your Lodge and the fae within, I hearby bestow upon you this Porkchop of Restoration." A very formal and grand gesture of presentation as she offers it to Oak, the glamour gathering around.

(Outside) ANd damn if that doesn't looke like that teacher he met at a conference once.

Kerri grins at the dog. "Good boy." Then she looks back to Brogan. "You are not to do any work until after I approve your recovery tomorrow." This does not seem to be up for debate.

"Dagmar?" Kerri looks at her. "The horses are okay, right?"

"Yes, my liege" Brogan keeps 90% of the whine out of it.

A narrow look at the damn thing.

"Yes'm. Checked on them myself. Stormwake could probably use another cookie?"

(Stables)Jack says "It just charged for the hold...Brogan stood against it... fire was all around him and he said something about House Daireann does not run...". It's a new Chimera. Freshly dreamed. STRONGLY dreamed. Well, it's dead now.

"How much has he had?"

Brogan says "Half a spring cookie. Stormwake joined in last, didn't get hurt too much"

"Sounds like he and Oak split one?"

The squire nods.

A grunt. Frank stands and walks in, looking down at it for anything salvagable.

The metal spring, the two parts, probably best. the bloody teeth MIGHT work but the spring is good metal

Kerri considers. "How are we doing for healing cookies right now. Inventory, Squire?"

"Two left," The Squire says "But they maybe weak as they're a bit old"

Oak woofs and wags as if to tell Kerri as much as he might like a treat, others need it more than he now that he has been restored by Porkchop Ministrations!

She grins at Oak, then nods to Dagmar. "Take one of them to Stormwake."

Dagmar nods. "Thanks. He is mostly okay, but he can't.. the fire, y'know?"

And then she's off, to tend the horse.

"Of course." And she watches the girl go.

Then she looks back to Brogan. "Any idea where it came from? Or more accurately, who?"

"Mmm." He wades in, carefully.

"None, Dame," Brogan says, his feeling sorry for himself over being benched forgot as there is a matter of a different sort to tend to "It charged straight towards the door as if it know just where the bale was. Which is possible, they can ken too some. But it .. it didn't have an intellect. It just charged without warning"

(Stable) The teeth are not redcap sharp, but what is? But could be used for edging or maybe wood carving if applied to the right equipment.

(Stable) And Dagmar shows up with the cookie. Jack turns "Dagmar.. hey. Star is still fussing over Stormwake and looking at people all judgey"

"Hmmph." He takes them, if he can, carefully.

(Stable) He can. And jack helps.

"Star is worried."
