Olgar greets Adam "Hey, kid." Olgar being there.

As is ..Dirk.

Dirk looks over, and sighs "Why you need him for?"

"Same reason I need you, Peacekeeper" Olgar says "We got a surplus of chimera lately..that's not a bad thing, but some of it is bad. We had an attack"

Dirk says "I heard Brogan got fucked up," helpful, "Nearly croaked"

Adam listens warily.

"yeah..." And Olgar describes the situtation, "Little guy had help, but he held his own. Now we've had a rise in chimera, but this one is nasty, and it got too close to the lodge on top of it. I want you two to keep an extra eye out for odd or dangerous chimera, see if you can learn where it came from"

"Ok. Sure."

"And patrols will probably increase ..furthermore..."

There's a cough

Sally Mae peeks out "Pardon, Rover? Would one of them be allowed to patrol by car?"

"I don't got a car" Dirk says

"I do. Happy to."

"Well, it's just... tonight's the night your calls come in for Knight Heart transport" Sally Mae reminds "Wanted to make sure the Rover wasn't going to fuss."

"Oh yeah. Well. Why can't I do both?"

Olgar says "Fine. Dirk can handle the wilds, Adam can drive the streets." The Rover says "Now, the Chief may change patrols or patterns... and you guys have phones. If you run into something you can't handle, you got my number CALL me"

Dirk says "I can handle a lot"

"Yeah you're both he-man badasses" Olgar says "But there's less mess and healing wasted with back up"

Adam's expression suggests it is a given he can handle it too.

Sally Mae clarifies, "I only handle the meals around here about 1/5th of the time, but while I will make a hero feast for brave folks, I don't feast nearly as well for rash or stupid, so you two use your head"

"Worried for me?" With a cocky grin.

"Lord knows why, but I'm fond of both you boys," Sally Mae says, "If I Find out you got yourselves killed over some macho grab at glory, don't be surprised if the food I give you isn't prime rib is all I'm saying."

Olgar blinks and looks at her "We have prime rib?"

"Not the point, Rover"

A head pops out from under a table. "Prime Rib??"

"Oh for goodness sake," Sally mae says

"I heard her say it say it too," Olgar nods down to the pooka

He nods. "Heard and witnessed!"

Hoofsteps near the halls, "Connor, did someone say Prime Rib?"

Covering up his mouth to hide the grin.

"No, I said Fine Jib. We're talking about Siv's ship!"

"I heard Rib!" The satyr says "I never had Prime Rib...because I was poor, and on the streets..."

Olgar looks at Sally Mae, "Poor..and on the STREETS, Sally Mae."

Sally Mae crosses her arms and looks at them all as if this were a conspiracy

He whispers up to Sally Mae, "I can count all of HIS ribs."

Adam grins imputantly.

Not even a fib, there.

"FIne," She says "I'll get my hands on a prime rib if I have to rob a dairy farm" SHe huffs "Just no one get hurt if they can help it" And she walks off into the kitchen.

Wide eyed to Olgar. "Do we have to warn Clem she's coming? Or are we 'sposed to be accomplishes?"

"Thank you, Sally Mae!" He sings.

Olgar whispers to Connor "I find if I don't ask about some of the sources, the Gwydions can't nail me down"

"Prime RIIIIB" Jack races off excited

A giggle and a huuuge, super-obvious wink to the Rover.

"Least someone has manners" From the kitchen. Clearly she heard Adam

"Are you going for a car ride, Adam?"

Trying not to look too interested, though his tail wags.

"Adam and Sally Mae have this uber like plan" Olgar says "So he will have unenchanted in his car a lot, kid"

"What's an uberlike?"

"Like a cab that moves in straight lines" Olgar says

He nods, still looking clueless.
