Siv doesn't know about the patch at the neck

"So." The dragon eyes Dagmar "you've chosen death" ANd it turns to her

Piper doesn't know how to get that intel to her, so she does the next best thing, and starts dancing a jig on the shore! She shouts the lyrics to be heard over the battle cries and serpent roars, a rousing song about mighty pirates sailing the sea wild and free!

Sail away, no serpent dire
Can stand against your Trollish ire,
Together undivided, forever we'll be free
So sail away on Narwhal strong
The sun is bright, so hear my song!
We'll stab that dragon in the neck,
We'll send the bastard back to heck,
Protect the Ocean free!

but even as it does, it lashes at the Narwhal with it's lower body tail

Siv sees the tail coming and tries to get the Narwhal to avoid "Njordi take the wheel" She gasps, then she hears something, between the clashing of steel and splashing of waves, an inpiring voice

Even as Dagmar gts the dragon to lunge at her, bringing it's head close, assuming she survives the bite

The Narwhal actually slips and slides OVER the tail! The wave it caused bieng used as a ramp over the smashing blow, at least mostly, the ship's underside gets some damage but it's not sinking

"From hell's heart I stab at thee." Dagmar braces Flyswatter up high - to bite on Dagmar is going to mean closing in on the weapon, as well.

And it does bite, perhaps assuming to it, Flyswater will be no more than a bit of a burn as it does down but it not the halberd the snake should fear so much as the rush of cold that accompanies it

Flyswatter's spearpoint drives into the roof of the serpent's mouth, but something curious happens... Dagmar lets out a bellow, becoming a channel for raw, furious glamour that she unleashes through the halberd. On the sunny July beach, a Nordic wind blasts out from the trolless, and a great cracking sound comes from the point of impact. ICE spreads, in chaotic whorls of frost, racing outwards and through, turning the very scales of the beast to chunks of ice.

Even as she does, there a price, for the sea dragon moved fast and it bit down...it may regret that, but armor and sinew of troll will be tested

And the armor? The armor passes the test. One fang, cracks on her chest plate, for the iced up tooth is far more fragile now

And Dagmar simply lifts fly swatter up into the icy maw, what should be harder than steel, , well, not so much and blood, hot and steaming in contrast to the cold, flows

there is another shattering sound, as the Narwhal rams into the far more fragile bulk of the Sea dragon. Head and Belly it is wounded, and so much so much more

"DAGMAR!" Piper shrieks as the maw closes on the Troll.

The thanes and knights of Ocean Breeze have not been idle and they unleash arrow, spear, axe and sword upon what they can, these are after thoughts, further scratches to the freezing impalment Dagmar has wrought and the Narwhal's puncturing of gut causing acids to pour free, and one troll thane who was being digested before now

With blood and ichor pouring on her shoulders, Dagmar continues to jab at the wound - maybe she can drive up through to the beast's brain!

Not hard to do anymore.. the iced roof of the mouth far more fragile... indeed, she realizes she HAS hit in the brain.. and it is crumbling ontop of her, even just it's head is enough to bury her

Piper has raced over and is punching at the icy dead head. "My friend is trapped in here! HELP!" She demands!

"DAGMAR?" Siv calls out from the ship

Tiny hooves kick at the frozen flesh!

Ironically, it is the wounded squire who helps "Wait, wait... I have an idea" He knocks on the ice , shave and a hair cut...and a door for portal passage opens...

Two bits?

Dagmar struggles against the rush of grey matter and foul liquid - but that armor which protected her now hinders...

As it opens, cold chunks of blood, brain fluid, and saliva pour out around Piper's hooves, but she can see Dagmar now

She reaches in and grabs an arm and TUGS

Looking around, she demands of the biggest, closest fae. "GET IN HERE AND PULL!"

The Redcap gulps... this is all backwards.. why must this little satyress be so MEAN... but he helps pull

Damn, Dagmar is not small.

Others join in, a sidhe of house BALOR Helps for crying out loud

ANd bit by bit, they pull her out

"...uhg."

Piper cries unashamedly as Dagmar grunts. "You stupid, stupid, brave moron!" Hopefully she won't hear that.

Sam is pretty sure she has never been this cold AND Smelly in her life. One or the other, sure, but this particular combination is a new thing

"Careful, don't pull her too hard" the balor says "She's wounded, you'll hurt her further if you yankk too hard"

Siv is on the shore racing towarads them

Dagmar is shivering, and her stomach roils at the stench. "Is it dead?"

"Indeed it is" A voice says, the Baroness approaches. She is not the only Selkie here, the area seems popualr enough with them, but she takes command "I do not recall directing guests to risk their lives in defense of my barony."

A trollish grunt. She might be filthy, wounded, and exhausted, but that doesn't mean she's less stubborn.

"Your Ladyship, it would have hurt Dame Dagmar worse to sit idly by."

"Aye, she's wired like that" Siv ssays, then moves to Piper and looks her over, feeling her and stroking for wounds finding mostly bruises "You're a wee bit hurt too, love"

"I'm fine, I just got knocked on my tailbone."

Dagmar is okay with laying here for a bit, yes.

"You could have called me SOONER if you were fighting a bloody SEA Dragon"

Siv is not being reasonable but she's retroactively spooked for her friend and lover

"Here," Dagmar hears a voice "Drink this" A flask

"Mmph?" She complies, taking a drink.

The balor knight stooped over her nods...

"I called you as soon as I saw it!" Piper argues back, hands on hips!

Eyes widen with surprise, but... a swallow and "Thank you."
