"Clearly, he ran into us just to get some more tales."

"They do have a way don't they? Right where they need to be.. even if it gets you bruised on the way"

"Oh, we need to check on that poor pooka!"

"I'm missing more of the pre story story arent I?" Siv says "Let's go find your firends the pooka and Eshu"

"Okay, so we were eating these peanutbutter and banana sandwiches..."

"Tove made us snacks" Dag helpfully supplies.

"Of course"

"...and the next thing we knew, the Lions had run off, and we're back on the road with Ximeana in tow."

"POOR Mr. Hollister, he almost cut her thr.. oh wow. Does the pooka know?"

"No, and we're not telling her."

"If he wants to discuss that, maybe with her, maybe with a therapist, that's HIS call. Doncha think?"

"It is" siv nods "Fear not,Siv is no snitch. I have a sluagh friend"

"Yeah. Oof. He was trying to do the kind but hard thing."

"Oh, shit, serpent sludge for Symon!"

"You do? Oh, yes! The lady at the library. You mentioned her. She seems really nice."

Dagmar shakes her head. "She's creepy."

"Ewww, you're really gonna get that? Maybe some nice clean scales?"

"Sorry Siv."

"I thought a tooth, maybe..."

Piper ELBOWS Dagmar. "I wasn't gonna say it"

A chuckle "yeah, something for Zara if I can get a chunk"

"I went in there to look for a book once, and I thought it was empty, you know? I couldn't make heads or tails of the filing system, but then when I turned around, it was... just on the table. Then I was going to leave, you know, and suddenly a VOICE whispering that I needed to check it out! And I swear - I SWEAR the room was empty when I went in..."

Piper looks a bit haggard remembering it!

"Oh that's just her having fun" Siv assures Piper

"Today I was going to go back and talk with Mickey some more... Did you guys want to work on your souveniers and serpent guts and stuff while I did that?

"Do you want company, or private time one on one talking to your dad?" Siv says "I think it's your choice, not ours"

"You've welcome, either or both of you, but it will probably just be me sniffling a lot. I wouldn't say no to a tissue-handler, but I didn't want to make either come." A smile.

"FFt, I'd LOVE to meet this guy." A pause "I hear he's got a great voice. reminds me of someone"

"Would it be so bad if I napped for a while?"

"I like Mickey just fine, but I'm beat."

"Siv can also serve ably as an emotional-support troll."

"No, you had a DAY. "

Siv chuckles at that term, then says "I think if freezing a whoe sea dragon doesn't earn you a nap, nothing does"

"A good day. This has been a good trip." She settles back against the pillows.

Siv gazes and whispers "With a good knight to watch over my love, thank ye Dagmar"

"Mm-hmm." Sleepy agreement.

Piper smiles and closes the door after her, putting up a 'do not disturb' sign.

And Siv follows Piper and takes her hand to walk "I wish Jonas were here, he'd be so proud"
