Dagmar charges into the surf... but the creature's reach makes it almost impossible to... then someone sees her moving forward , the squire yells "Sister of Falcon now fly! To armss to arms, tis do or die"

And Dagmar finds herself, if she's willing, hopsctoched to reach the beast

She's willing! She can stand on the thing and hack at it!

Even as she listens for the dread ringtone, Piper paces in a little line on the shore, watching.

And Siv picks up "Piper? You called. Who CALLS?"

"SIV! No time for questions, can you bring the ship to me RIGHT NOW?"

Dagmar lands on the creature's head, and brings Flyswatter down, scales that chimerical arrows can't penetrate, and even sharp swords are having trouble with, well, Dagmar's weapon finds a spot between them and sinks deep. This thing is well armored but her precise strike, plus her troll might? Well, she makes it bleed! It does not die, there's just too much of it

"Chesapeake Bay, bow bearing East-North-East astern" (has she actually been LISTENING to Siv, instead of just looking cute on the ship in her Bikini??), bring Jonas or anyone you have on hand who can fight, but don't wait to find them!"

"I Love you so much right now. Be there soon"

There is a very satisfying spray of blood and ichor as Flyswatter finds a sweet-spot, powered not just by Dagmar's arm, but the momentum of the Hopscotch!

Piper shoves the phone in her pocket and turns to watch the battle, she uses a hoof-tip to draw a Hopscotch square pattern in the sand, readying but holding a bunk.

"You have actually hurt me. How... irritating... " And it shakes it's great head with a sudden snap

Dagmar uses the hooked end of the halberd's head to dig into the wound - and use the injury she caused as an anchor. If she gets tossed, she's going to try to bring more flesh with it.

Even as it's head shakes, it also extends it's body, the tail slapping on shore, wounding and scattering a half dozen warriors

Piper looks around for anything... large, and free. That is, not concreted to the ground. A car (maybe not on the boardwalk) or a hot dog or funnel cake stand... and then she is dodging!

Dagmar tears it up a bit as she slides back anothe few feet closer to the neck, but she's still up there!

Piper leaps behind the very funnel cake stand she was going to use, batter explodes all about her and the cart does bruise her rump a bit, but a lot better than what could have happened

"Fooey!"

She realizes that the hopscotch pattern has been scraped away, and grabs a mustard bottle rolling free and starts to draw it again!

Dagmar scrabbles up, using Flyswatter for leverage. She jerks it free of the flesh to swing another blow.

Every damned scale on this thing is like a steel shield! Stronger, but Dagmar swings, and tries to keep her balance as she does...

Scales might be strong, but there are weak points to strike at...

Is it Fancy, or is it French's? Who knows, but armed with Mustard, Piper prepares her golden sigil

This next blow isn't as delving as the last, but Dagmar holds on.

The Sea Nightmare eyes the shore where a small (to it) squire fires a crossbow, "AH, that is the one who propelled you to me. If I can rid myself of you, then... that one will die for your folly"

With Flyswatter in the beast's flesh, under the scales, she doesn't pull it free this time - instead, she tugs it between flesh and muscle, like Kerri filleting a fish. "So I kill you first, okay."

Piper focuses, trying not to let fear shake her hand, as she carefully adds the curls to the numbers on the pattern...

The abomination of a sea dragon hisses in pain! And ichor bubbles about Dagmar's weapon, and her feet

But she is distracting it

Now she yanks, to pull down a sheet of flesh and armored scales - exposing a swath of its throat.

This is a thinking creature, and it seems to realizze what she's doing... it tries to angle so she falls.. in a way, both get their wish! Dagmar exposes a chink in it's throat, something big enougth for a black arrow that has never failed, but she also plummets with a splash into the ocean, lucky she did not strike the shore instead

Piper activates her hopscotch! FULL ARMOR + DEEP WATER = BAD

There is a moment of panic as she hits the waves. FULL ARMOR = DEEP WATER = BAD!

Dagmar plunges into the water, it's not the deep part but deep enough that the armor wil.. SPROING... and she's out again, landing on shore

Near her, Squire Archlyn says "The arrows don't do any..."

The Dragon opens it's mouth, and a glow starts to issue from it

Dagmar SHOVES the Squire behind her. "AIM FOR THE HOLE!"

Where is Siv? Piper sends up a prayer to whoever the god of Narwhals might be.

And the lightning breathe bursts from it's mouth lashing at Dagmar and those around her

"Okay that is NOT fair!" She shouts at the Sea Nightmare!

Lightning shockks and burns at the fleshe of the troll, the squire behind her is somewhat more shielded but still screams, and and another thane dies

Dagmar takes the strike, and she can't help but cry out.

Piper dashes forward at the scream from the squire, grabbing the boy to haul him up to the boardwalk and away from the immediate danger zone, if she can.

A burst of white in the blue, as spray cascades, and a ship comes into view- The Narhwal launches a balista

the squire wounded, fires his weapon but misses the mark

"STILL STANDING, BEAST!" She taunts from the shore.

The ballista strikes the creature, and the sea dragon turns, at this new intruder, it is hurt from the balista, but only a little "So many targets!"

Piper looks for a healer to shove the childling towards!
