Frank has picked up a roll, yes, and is inserting ham. He glances at Brekke.

She pops the chunk of bread in her mouth and chews as she waits for an answer.

She pauses en route to another bite, and lowers the roll again. "A Glome? You...have met a Glome?" Both brows up.

Frank chews slowly.

She nods. "In the woods, yeah. And he said, you know, sometimes it would be nice to have company. And there's a lot of people here, so I said I'd ask if he could visit? He's heard of you, and didn't want to be rude."

A blink. "He is here? In these woods?"

Defensive. "I am pretty sure his rock was here first."

She stares at the girl after her response for a moment...then chuckles slightly. "Almost certainly." Leaning back in her chair. "A Glome. And I never found it."

"My apologies, Dagmar. I would be honored to meet...does the Glome have a name?"

"His name is Klump. I'll tell him, then." A pause. "Thanks."

Jaymes fights a smile

"Thank you." She corrects.

"Klump." Brekke nods. "I look forward to it. Where is his rock?"

She bites on her lower lip. "I don't know if I should tell."

A slight pause, then a nod. "No. Of course not. My apologies, Dagmar, I should not have asked you."

She takes another sip of coffee.

"Sorry... it just... " She frowns, rubbing her chest. "Doesn't feel right? I dunno."

"the Chieftain understands I'm sure" Jaymes says

She looks at the girl again, and after a moment, she nods. "It would be a betrayal of his trust to do so. Your feelings are good."

"Okay." Agreeably enough, even if she seems a bit unsure.

"A Glome..." she says, bemused. "Well."

"A Glome." Frank repeats, with equal amusement, to Brekke.

Vali smiles, "Huh. Nice work, Dagmar. It's a sign the glamour in this area is strong"

"He was nice." She shrugs, and floats back to claim a second roll... a furtive look, and it is loaded up with ham and cheese, too.

"Please...when you speak with him, give my best regards." She takes another bite of roll.

"Glome, Glome on the range.... " Vali sings softly, "Where the wilder trolls and slaugh kids play. Where rumbling is heard, and the stones startle the birds, and trolls meet someone as tall as they."

"Sure." Ooo, mustard...

"Taller!"

An eyebrow is leveled at Vali.

Jaymes says "Vali, you're funny, but you're no Tove."

Frank gives Vali an eyebrow too.

A look at Jaymes at the mention of Tove.

Vali sighs "FIne fine. I'll stick to the printed word"

"I must agree, if the question is singing."

Jaymes goes back to eating his own roll.

Dag returns to her seat, sandwich in tow. "Tove's a good singer."

"Her dad's pretty good too," Vali says, "Real skald "

Brekke nods. "I have memories of her voice, her songs, on our Quest."

"We haven't had a skald here in... well. Ever." He glances at Brekke to confirm.

"Like Tove's singing better myself," Jaymes says, and unaware of it.

A slight grin. "Torvald brings a great gift to the Lodge, yes."

She watches Jaymes, amber eyes thoughtful.

"...even if he is sometimes a bit excessive with the flattery."

Vali smiles, "Admit it, you liked that song he did on Beltaine"

"I admit it was a very good song." A slight hmph after that.

"I liked it."

Vali stage whispers to Dagmar "She liked it too. And if you want to see the Chief get misty, ask Siv to sing the song o memory"

"Can do."

A warning rumble to Vali...one that she doesn't particularly mean...and she sips her coffee again.
