"Symon? Sure. His stepmom'll probably but him in a bright orange floatie vest..."

Jaymes fights a smile, but one slips

"Ah, Kelly, you're a mad one you are..." but another laugh

"She means well." of Symon's stepmother.

A glance to the closet, then to Frank.

"I guess...."

"You know, those things aren't always a bad idea" Vali says "Floatie vest saved my life once"

She sets down her mug on the arm of her chair. "Safety equipment is important. But we tend to have more safety methods than mortals."

"Maybe Siv and Sylvi would want to go, too?"

Frank glances at Brekke, then her mug. "Top you up?" He rumbles quietly.

"Maybe"

"A fishing trip? They well might. Siv would likely jump at the chance." Then she grins to Frank and nods. "Thank you."

A small smile flickers at the corner of his lips, and he takes her mug to refill it.

"Is she un-grounded enough?"

"Well...." A frown. "We still need to take precautions in more banal settings, but a fishing day would not pose a problem, I think. Jaymes? Your opinion?"

"She was born to water, and it sounds like a changeling only trip so far' Jaymes says

A nod. "But as for grounding in the sense of consequence for actions, yes, that is over." A concerned tone, though.

"Hmmphm."

"So yeah - boat! SIV!"

An apologetic look to Frank, and then a blink as Dagmar yells.

He shrugs.

... and brings her coffee back over.

She accepts it gratefully...and takes a bracing gulp.

Frank pauses, gaze flickering over her.

She meets the look, curious.

"Ok?" A soft rumble.

A wry grin, and a nod. "Fine." Another sip.

He nods. "More to eat?"

"Mm, a bit of bread with cheese would go well, yes, thank you."

Frank goes to get her another roll.

"I think she is still on the telephone, Dagmar." A curious look. "Where did your fish end up today?"

"We cooked them on a fire. Outside!"

"Like camping in the movies!"

"You'd like the classes and camping at the Y here." He addresses Dagmar as he brings Brekke her plate.

That gets a broad smile. "Well, good! I assume Jaymes showed you how?"

"Yeah, you have to make a cabin so the air gets in."

She nods, but turns serious. "And when you left the area....?"

She shrugs. "Nothing too exciting?"

A frown then. "The fire, I mean. You did put it out?"

She seems about to rise from her seat.

"Oh! Yeah, sure. Jaymes made us do it, like, twice, and stir up the ashes into mud."

She takes a deep breath and nods slowly, relaxing back again. "Good, then." Another sip of coffee.

"And Frank is right...you might well appreciate the classes at the Y. I teach several of them."

Frank nods to himself.

"Like what kind of classes? Are they graded?"

"No, not at all. Some classes, including most of mine, offer certificates, so you would have to pass a proficiency test in whatever skill has been taught. Other classes offered there are in performance, which usually have recitals, or in art, which have displays. The point is to learn what you wish to learn."

A sudden thought. "Can you swim, Dagmar?"

"Um..."

"Sort of."

"Mm." A nod of understanding, not condemnation. "I thought that might be the case. You may wish to learn to proficiency. Far more often than one might expect, a Quest ends up with somebody dumped in the water. Better that that somebody knows how to swim."
