Dagmar emerges.

Jaymes appears to be staring into the fire

Symon slinks after, moving over to set the lemonade down on table. A pause and he pushes it over towards the "Good" side, in case one wondered.

"...hey." A crack in her voice.

He shoots Dagmar a glance, and then flicks eyes from Jaymes, to the door. Trying to read her reaction if she wants a moment alone, or anything but...

"Hey," he turns slightly

"How you two doing?"

"...okay."

"that's good." He says.

"Good." She swallows.

A nod - he appears to be examining the contents of a dish on the table.

A pause, then, "I may go fishing soon. So, hopefully you guys like that. Then again, Kerri could probably cook an old shoe and make it taste good"

"I think maybe she did." He mutters, intrigued, prodding at something in that dish - it makes a squishy sound.

"Ain't been... I mean, haven't..."

"Should take a glaive along in case the worms turn into Wyrms."

A short chuckle.

A chuff of a laugh

then, "Never been? Neither of you learned how to fish?"

"No, never been fishing."

"Does being called 'Fishbelly' count?" A twist of a smirk. "If not, then no."

"You are really damn pale..."

"And cold. And Probably slimy."

"I should bribe what's her name... Shortstack. To teach me Hopscotch. Then I can be frogbelly."

"Nah, Toad. From the X-men?"

"right" A pause, "Well, if either of you wants lessons, let me know. It's a survival skill, a form of meditation, and a way to annoy vegitarians all at once"

"From the Brotherhood." He amends, amused. "I get to be evil. Cool."

"That... that could be okay."

A grin at Sy, then she sticks out her tongue.

"I'd try it, as long as no one else is afraid of getting worms on their fancy party dress." Innocence? Well, no, but a facsimile thereof.

"Sounds good. I'll bring some extra poles and show you how to bait hooks. "

A smirk at Symon and Dagmar "Fishing is not, traditionally, for neatfreaks"

"We get to eat what we catch?"

"Well, if it's too small we put it back. We don't want to depopulate the young ones"

Her lips curl around her teeth, leaving her mouth a thin line... but she nods. "Okay."

"But yeah...that's kind of the point." he says "At least, it should be. You want fish art? Ask Tove for a wooden replica. Real fish? those are for eating"

"I don't have school tomorrow."

"Ok. Sounds good"

Trying to sound casual. "What time?"

"How about 10 in the morning?"

"...Yeah, okay. Ten."

He is still examining the contents of the squishy dish, a finger swiped through and licked now - something vaugely fuzzy and colorful in a way not meant by normal culinary intent. A whisper. "Maybe - I'll text in the morning if it's not too sunny out. I'm not a day walker like you."

"...Bet Lovecraft'd like fish. Maybe."

A sudden mrrrrr? from the shadows speaks to interest in the idea....

"I... I oughtta go." A pause. "Ten."

"Sure... Symon can come " A nod

"Ten. See you here" He says, "Bring sunscreen"

"Ten. Okay."

And... retreat, but with a promise of return.

He watches her go then looks to Symon, "Bring your cat. Or your cat can bring you, if you want"

A non-committal shrug. "She brings herself." A pause in the door, and an appraising look back at Jaymes. "thank you for the invitation." Before heading out.
