Frank nods. "Even outside a Quest, 70% of the planet is covered in water."

"Yeah, sure." A little prickle.

Frank puts more roll in his mouth.

She considers her mug for several minutes. "If you like, as part of your training prior to your saining, I can arrange for you to take swim lessons there. Being an instructor, I have some pull. Or..." another thought "...with use of the pool, one of us could teach you, rather than a mortal instructor."

Her mouth twists. "No, that's okay."

"Well...that is your choice. I was thinking Siv might teach you. I think she would be happy to do so. Please consider it." Then she sips her coffee, and looks to the phone closet again.

"I don't..." A frown and a shrug.

Brekke seems to have let that conversation lie, listening to the now very quiet whispers coming from the phone closet.

Siv comes out

"Someone say my name?"

A clearing of the throat and a sip of coffee, not looking at the phone closet, nope, no sir....

Gears shift. "Siv! Jaymes is gonna take us on a boat! Sylvi too!"

"well dandy... can I be captain?" Siv grins

"No." Jaymes says and sips

Siv makes a face

Frank glances around and finally seems to give up, taking another packed roll and hot mug to settle on the floor in front of Brekke's chair, leaning his back against one leg of it, head against the arm rest.

"We're gonna fish!"

He settles with a quiet grunt.

Brekke automatically rests a hand on one of Frank's horns as he settles in.

"On a boat."

"well, that'll be fine. " Siv says and seems to quell something else she was thinking of saying "Fine fine. Jaymes can be captain."

"thank you," Jaymes says , and a sip

"Question..." Brekke interrupts. "Exactly which boat is being considered for this venture? And which body of water?"

"We still have the rowboat." Mildly, from the floor with his eyes closed and one horn captured.

"We do," she nods.

"Pardon Chief, of course, this is up to you." he says "But i was thinking of maybe renting a big enough boat built for fishing on the lake and taking the kids out on that"

"We're not taking the Kestrel?" Siv says aghast

Frank just.... sighs.

Brekke nods and sips her coffee, letting Jaymes field this one.

By way of distraction, Brekke asks, "And how is Kelly, Siv?"

A grunt.

"Well, I don't have many other boys to rate him by..." Siv starts to say

Another deep sigh. But, only that. Could be an improvement.

Jaymes coughs into his hand, 'No, w'ere not taking the Kestrel. It's one of a kind, and we want to teach skills that the others can use and will have access to the gear of."

Siv is on the receiving end of a very eloquent Mom Eyebrow.

"I mean, he's fine. He would like to take me out sometime next week?" Siv says dimpling

"Oh? I see. Did he say where?"

"Well, " A deeeeep breath , " He lives near Firnost..."

Dag listens, looking between the others.

"Dagmar," Jaymes says "what would be a good time for you ? Saturday or sunday?"

"Sunday is better...."

He nods "I'll try to set it up then"

"Mm." Brekke's tone is carefully neutral, but she asks Frank, "When are you undertaking the arcade game quest?"

"Need to talk to Olgar."

"Sunday after church? If that's okay?"

"Well, if it is next week, Siv and I must be available, as the back-up team."

Giving Siv a significant look.

A sigh from Siv "Well, I'll tell him it maybe a bit"

"Sure," Jaymes nods.

Frank rocks his head, nodding. "I understand." Eyes still closed. "I'll have to see if I can find Olgar, pin him down and get a conversation going with him."
