The dead center of the wall crumbles, oh the stone is strong enough, but the mortar is now deteriorated .. it explodes out and the whole wall starts to crumble going into the 'pit'..where it all falls, and keeps falling

There's still a ten foot jump to make past it, but the wall? Is gone

He listens to hear how long the stones fall, out of curiosity.

they bounce against the trod pit's edges until they hear "OW" A good distance down "You furking KIDDING ME?"

"What one braincelled mouthbreathing dragon humping son of an idiot just throws thingss like that?"

Symon checks to see if either of them thought to bring rope.

Then pauses, wondering if it is a trap victim or setter?

A good question, he could ask, but his whisper would not carry

Dagmar has her rucksack off. Yes, she has rope.

Dagmar sees him gazing down, dubious.

She leans over his shoulder to look.

Oh! Symon remembers he can see in the dark.

If it IS just dark, and not distance or twists and turns

She squints.

For about fifteen feet it's a straight pit drop like a square tube of silver. then it starts to incline more as a ramp but still a steep one, enough perhaps to turn a deadly plummet into a chance of sliding down further... then it vanishes but Symon swears he sees the outline of someone climbing UP the silver. he can hear a 'smuck' sound, a bit like an insult, but more like a suction cup

Dagmar sees Silver and hears cursing... judging by the colorful commentary, her guess would be nocker

"Nearly lost all the frangbulk progress I made trying to get OUT of this furking cult ground..." SMUCK SMUCK "And someone drops a shitty quality stone brick on me"

Symon tries not to snicker, and gestures for the rope.

Poor fellow. Heh.

"You have anything to do with that wall?" She calls.

"YEAH... I got over it, and then fell through the other furshlunkin side into the trod pit, a damned Ooobulate or whatrever, and found it leads to an area in the Dreaming I DON'T want to be in... hard enough getting free from High Mother Constance but I had to make these suction cup climbing gloves to get up again... then, THEN, someone DROPPED the wall on me, or at least bits of it. So yes, I fell for it, then I got hit with it, a LOT to do with that wall. Furk my eye"

Symon does not look at all repentant. Maybe he should be seeing the High Mother what'sherFace

Now Symon clearly sees the nocker, he looks exhausted but carrying on with suction cup gloves and knee pads . Dagmar sees an outline

She listens for lies, rope in hand.

"Okay."

Symon nods to Dagmar and the rope. In fact, he reaches for it... indicating he will climb down.

She plants her feet, bracing herself so she can spool out the line in a controlled manner.

She knows she can haul up both Symon and the nocker hand-over-hand if she needs to.

Symon takes one end and uses his own, superior, built in suction cups and heads down. Hopefully the Nocker doesn't have a heart attack as the dark figure like something out of a horror movie crawls down the wall towards him, head first and scuttling with little pop-pop-pops.

"Oh geez.. it's wall crawling and looks Japanese" the nocker mutters, but Symon's ears pick it up "If this is the Ring Part three I am just gonna drop and start over"

But the nocker calls out "HEY, uhm... someone you trust coming down? Is that you?"

"We're a team. And you ain't lying, so we'll help."

The creature lets out a thread to snare the nocker! Wait, no, it's a rope, and as Symon gets into reach, he ties it firmly around the Nocker - it may not be comfortable, but it's safer than the guy releasing a suction cup and trying to grab on. A tug up to Dagmar once it is secure.

She starts to pull -hey, look! Those Fire Science classes are paying off!

Symon follows.

The nocker gets closer wrapping the rope about himself too though Symon did it faster. Qetz cchooses THIS moment to settle around the nocker's neck

The rope passes around her waist - extra security, in case her grip slips. But Symon is on that rope, so she won't drop him.

So, Dagmar pulls up , but Fire Science class may not have trained her for "OH JUMPING JESUS on a pogo cross, it's a demon snake trying to choke off the breath of my spirit I'm gonna furking DIE!"

A soft hiss of laughter, maybe not even audible.

But oh, Symon feels better a bit.

"I mean, we could leave you on your own, dude."

Hauling away!
