Symon looks to Dagmar, and shrugs a bit. His knife remains lightly a hairsbreadth away from Snyde's throat. He whispers, "I'll just kill you if he lies."

Dagmar senses the lie behind his words. He wouldn't kill his kithmate... not casually, at any rate. But his tone is so cold and casual, the others may well believe it.

Dagmar knows her Guile.

Clutch is so far speaking the truth, and says "Oh yeah, Gwyd. GOtcha"

"I'd suggest you two find your way, opposite of ours." She drawls with a kind of casual insouciance that feels more threatening than an overt one would be.

"Deal deal" Snyde says with annoyance.

A slight nod at the whisper and an eyebrow lift at Clutch.

"Deal, though we were hoping to find.. ah nevermind" Clutch sounds resigned

She shrugs. "You'll find somethin' else. Maybe try finding it yourself instead stealing it." A pause. "Usually attunes better that way, anyways."

"Oh sure sure..." Snyde says "Well, all done now, you go your ways we go ours. "

(Perception plus Empathy or Kenning)

Dagmar can sense the glamour of the stolen object they've got... and notice that Snyde is really hoping the heroes forgot about it

"The horn."

Snyde curses in a whisper "Left coat pocket... you'll understand if I don't want to move while there's a knife at my throat"

"Now, now. My companion would cut you on purpose, not by accident."

"I'll get it," Clutch volunteers

"I'll get it."

Symon corrects, and slides his hand into the pocket indicated.

Not the knife hand, mind you.

He finds the horn, he can feel the magic in it

A grunt. ("Thank you, love")

He pulls it out and tosses it to Dagmar... and then checks the other pockets for good measure, so long as Snyde is still paralyzed.

She catches it, and slings it over a shoulder without breaking her guard on Clutch.

Snyde growls, as Symon finds a rubber spider made in hong kong with ninelegs (Factory glitch), a scroll, and a book

"Which of these are stolen?"

A sigh "Everything but the spider, but the book is.. " A grumble hiss

Symons looks like he's tempted to pocket the spider. "But...?"

"The book is kind of personal" He hisses "Very" Stolen but personal? mm

Brow?

He reads the cover at least.

To Please a Giant: Carnal techniques to bring Trolls to Maximum Ecstacy, by Dr. R. W is the tile. It is a dignified blue book with gold trim, though the trim has male and female symbols and heart shapes.

Symon slides it back into Snyde's pocket.

His ears are a touch red.

"Thank you" Snyde mutters

"We good?" Checking in with Sy - she's carefully avoided using his name.

His head bobs in a nod.

The spider is also returned.

Snyde gives Symon a dirty look

The faintest of shrugs.

The scroll is not returned, though he does step back away from Snyde now, and the little knife vanishes back into a pocket.

"Go."

Symon whispers, "The paralysis will wear off within an hour. Faster if you have a bezoar or other panacea."

Clutch grabs his love, and throws him over his shoulder

If Clutch is carrying Snyde, that should keep him out of trouble. But still.

Symon slides back to her side, and only once they are out of range of the other two, does he stop to check out the scroll.

The scroll has more clues on to find the stone, and includes an offer of a reward. You see, if you GRIND the stone up properly, it is gone forever, but whoever drinks the remnant gains all the lore for themselves and themselves alone, PLUS a lovely singing voice

And on the backside...

Symon scowls and shows the scroll to Dagmar... then sees the back as she's reading the front!

"Oh, no, I don't like that idea..."
