It must also be mentioned that it looks like Clutch and Snyde were hoping for a rewaard from someone specific, someone who would be happy to grind up the stone for such ends

And the two villains head off, never to be seen again ... maybe... we hope, but you never know

After they review the hints and notes, they continue on?

The Bell of Bast is said to ..well, not SUMMON the Cat Goddess, that would be insulting, but rather draw her attention and she may give you a communion or even a boon. Cats know and see a LOT, and whatever any mortal cat or cat pooka or cat chimera sees? So does Bast, or so it is said

Dagmar settles into an easy pace, Symon in a place she can protect him, all is well.

But it is a treasure of great worth

Symon notes this, but he is focused on their MAIN quest. Side quests - that way lies peril.

Dagmar missed the note. But then, she also missed Odin falling when he tried to jump.

Probably for the best on both counts.

The two make their way along their paths now clearing the foggy city sprawl, and , troubles aside, Symon might be sorry to see it go. It is very sluagh worthy
