In the distance, they see a boulder on the silver. Just laying there a bit to the side. Easy to go by.

Only... something is off about it. WHy is it on the silver. Where did it fall from? It seems awful flat. And frankly, has no signs of weather effects here in foggy areas

Symon extends a finger towards it, and gives Dagmar a questioning look. Could it be? He kens the boulder, harder to get a grasp of magic while in the dreaming, but maybe a sense of the flavor of it?

She slows as they get closer.

He's pretty sure the 'rock' is alive..some sort of shapeshifting?

Does it feel like Klump? Or like something else?

Metamorphisis, the troll has likely turned into a rock, one with space for a sluagh to hide in. Devious... but with flaws

Symon hisses softly into Dagmar's ear, and leans away from the stone. "Ware the trap, love."

"Serve them right to boot it off the silver. After all, someone might trip over it."

She grunts. ("Probably goes against Dagda.")

"Down. Better to have two targets."

He slides off her shoulder and steps back and away. Meanwhile checking his pockets, inventorying his supplies silently, checking for items for quick bunks as he prepares for the unknown.

She has Flyswatter back out.

Symon palms his tiny knife in one hand, a handful of dice - dross, embued from a gamer he had mused, in the other.

A whisper... and a rumble...while our heroes are ready, our villains realize in time the jig is up

The boulder becomes a troll, and a sluagh comes out comes out casting

Symon doesn't wait to see what spell the sluagh is working at. He flicks his wrist, sending the tiny knife flying towards his kithmate. It's a small thing, more apt for peeling an apple, but it's what he has.

Symon reaches for his inhaler before throwing, remembers he doesn't need it, and curses as it slows him down!

Dagmar however goes quickly

A heavy sigh. "You just had to attack, didn't you?" She swings, using the advantage of reach that her halberd gives her - aiming to knock the troll back, as he's the largest opponent.

"Dagda code eh?" Clutch grunts as he is knocked back, not off the silver, but a step "Never much cared for it" His armor helped some, but only a little, and he tries to grab Flyswatter by the handle and pull it from her

Clutch as his name implies, has a STRONG grip. But... Dagmar and fly swatter are as one.. and rather than disarm her.. he opens himself up.

Snyde however has time to work his cantrip , hastily...
