Otho mutters and curses "There's something that could get them out, but it's a form of craftsmanship I never wanted to try again"

She checks Symon's notes, seeing if there's anything to add.

He is agitated and pacing

Symon tilts his head, "Only pointing out that your skills deserve better than wasting time here, Otho. But if you think you can manage something... perhaps I underestimated you." A shrug.

"Balloons" A sigh

"Huh."

"Balloons... a proper harness, and balloons... not full hot air, but this is the dreaming, it would work for lift"

"I QUIT the aethernauts... tired of being in my furking father's SHADOW... never could be good enough, as good as him, so furk it, I got other crafts to try right? Furk right... but that would do it. Balloons"

Symon makes small, noncommittal sounds of agreement. "Mm. Rough. Uh huh."

"Yeah, I get it."

"Could make it a stealth operation, either of you got Veiled Eyes?"

He has reached into a satchel at his side, and pulled out a ledger too big for it. He starts to doodle on his own

"Let's see, disbelief down draft should be at a minimum"

he soon is muttering

She frowns. "Olgar and Vali could clean this up in a second. Hell, probably Olgar and Gerd."

A briefly melancholy look. "Yeah, nah, you wouldn't."

Symon judges, then returns the airplane to the book. "Best save that for a real emergency."
