And, well, there's no mistaking 'what' Dagmar is when she comes into view - even without her armor, she's all green and gold and blue.

"Well, someone dropped a brick on me" he does have a square shaped bruise over his left eye "So ... furk you're big... I guess we're fighting in the shade, eh Leonoidis?"

"Not a brick. A wall." A whisper comes up behind him.

She grunts. "Wasn't gonna leave that wall in place now was I?"

"Next time maybe save the nocker, THEN drop the bricks? Just a free tip" And soon they are all up

She looks at the hole, thoughtful. "I'm figuring I could act as a bridge? If you two are fast."

She touches the top of her head, then extends her arm higher, calculating.

Symon ponders, and makes a softball lobbing gesture?

"Hol up, need to catch my freaking breath, you may have lungs the size hot air baloons. I don't" He now is heaving but glad to be up, "I could probably build a bridge with the remaining bricks, block off the drop? Sucks to be the people trapped down there with the high mother but ... that's how it is sometimes" He's abouot their age they suspect though in the dreaming it is hard to say... like most nockers he has shocking white hair and spirals, though his spirals are so thin to almost look like etchings...

"You two? Yeah, I could yeet."

"....what?"

A pause and he prods the nocker, then gestures downwards. "?"

His voile makes up for it though, nockers go flashy, and his voile is bedraggled, but as he pats it, it seems to restore itself

The nocker holds up a finger, takes a moment, then gets one more breath "Yeah, you got the reader's digest version.. let me give you the slightly less abridged. There's a crazy kithain lady, she has a minature realm down there. She is probably the one who had the wall put up. She runs a cult, captures people, and then makes them follow her crazy teachings.. it's like Rev Moon meets Scientology meets I don't know what ... over the years she's caught a few.. like 7 of us not counting herself. Lucky number seven decided to get his ass out, and I did."

Her brows scrunch down and her jaw juts out and ohhhh, Symon knows that face.

"Oh, I'm Otho by the way, and yes I know you probably saw it as that obnoxious guy in the movie, blame my dad, I swear he set a namer up so this would be my fae name. Who.. who do I owe the thanks to? You guys got names or should i just call you Scamper and Hauls?"

"Dame Dagmar Hammerstrike ap Gwydion." She looks down the pit with a stubborn expression.

"Nice to meet ya, Dame," He says then looks down the hole "Yeah, it's a steep drop, then a long slide, and really really slick. There's a crash point mind thank goodness, like a thick thick wrestling mat"

"But real hell to climb up."

"That's the trap" He nods assembling bricks "Now I can seal this up properly with a bit of time. "

"Bringin' up six more, I don't know if I could carry that many all at once."

"not without a chain rope tie link, multi harnasses and even then..." He pauses "Wait, to do that you'd have to go DOWN there"

She chews on a hangnail. "Now, there's the rope... I can make rocks with primal, that might do something..."

"You don't want to go down there, in fact just BEING here is dangeerous," he explains "Look, I mean, yes, maybe we could send help but just three? No chance"

"And by Three I mean you and Scamper here and me wishing you furking luck"

"What else can you tell me about it? This Constance?"

"She's a kithain, I THINK, but she's got this mask that obscures so its har to get a read on her. I thought about stealing it or breaking it once but I couldn't bring myself to do it. Treasure you know? Breaking them always carries a price and I didn't steaal it. She says crazy shit, you start to believe it"

Symon listens.

"At least three of the followers are so brainwashed they think she's god. She's not god. She's not even a dream of A god."

"So they're trapped by magic. And... yeah, don't need to tell me twice about breaking a treasure."

The little bird on her horns rustles a bit.

The nocker looks at her "What did you sit on one? DAMN"

She reaches up, gently petting it.

"Right of Rescue, innit?"

Symon remarks cooly, "Probably need to leave them behind. There's no way to get 6 others up out of this pit with what we have on hand." A regretful shrug.

"So - three pretty brainwashed, three less so? Any chimerical guards?"

Brow furrow.

"A one eyed basilsk. Won't turn you to stone forever, just for an hour or so"

"Joy."

Symon reaches into his pack and pulls out a book.

A frown. "Two of us is probably not enough."

He opens the book, and within is a carefully folded paper airplane, free from creases. Turns out that "Comprehensive Principles of Advanced Clinical Pathophysiology: A Systems-Based Approach to Cases" came in handy even outside of studying.

A pen is also produced, and he looks to Dagmar, pen poised, a question in his eyes.

Hm, his pen turned into a quill this far into the dreaming, and the paper looks more like parchment. Still! He has an inkwell handy, and ready to use it.... should Dagmar give him the nod.

Hmm, the book is now "Ye Compleat Principles of Advanced Pathophysiologie", interesting.

"We can't just leave them, Sy."

"Look... I want to help I do, but..."

A nod. He dips the quill and starts putting in detailed notes. His writing is small and concise, and includes a detailed map - a note of the river to avoid, where to watch for insulting fauna... then he hands it to Dagmar. There is some space left if she wants to add to the message that will fly to Vali.

He raises a brow at the Nocker. "No point in asking you to help build something to get them out—clearly, this isn’t the kind of challenge that suits your abilities."
