She times it, and as he passes her, she punches him again and maybe just a bit harder; not to kill him but she doesn't want him thinking to hard after this. It will break the veil but that's ok.

Dazed and crumbled he groans in pain on the ground

And, he's got a gun. Well, had. She takes it away and checks, ensures it's safe. She handles it carefully; aside from the education you can get from media, and some words from family, she is not familiar with firearms.

She knows when a safety is off. The idiot was wandering around with it off

She safes it, and conceals it. She gives him the once-over.

More groaning. She really punched him hard and from surprise

She crouches down next to him and waits for him to focus.

"You..." one eye looks up at her "you ambushed..."

"You were making a really stupid choice. You need help back to your house?"

A groan and he crawls back to his door "Don't touch me"

"I won't. There's something you should know."

"What... what should I know?"

"I'm a brujah. And I can see the future. I can see your dreams. Tonight, they will be nightmares. Things with teeth will be watching you as you sleep tonight. Also, you will feel better if you put some ice on that as soon as you can, take a couple aspirin."

His face pales and he manages to get upright enough to close himself into his home and lock the door

She heads back to Fenix; Mitra can take care of herself and she needs to get a couple redcaps on call for the night. She considers the sluagh in Fenix..... wilders?

Most of the slugh she knows well are childlings, but she has a census to check and is sure there are a few

She looks over the records in the library, and then at Constance "Do you know any of these?"

She looks over "Ah yes, not well but a few. Is there someone you're hoping for in particular?"

"Someone who would enjoy a good haunting and will follow instructions. More than one would be fine."

"Well, the childlings would leap on the chance but they can be a bit slow to follow restrictions" She nods and she suggests. One of them is a nun that works with father V. Another is gothy wilder girl who calls herself "Bratty Yaga" and the last is a fellow named Writhe

"Can you send word to all three that if they are interested in haunting a wife-beater, they should come here for information? Invitation, not an order."

"A wife beater?" Her eyes darken "Tempted to haunt this fellow myself, but yes, they are the professionals. I'll send out the invites rright away"

"I told him I was a witch and his nightmares would have teeth tonight. Tomorrow I go back and tell him his nightmares will be toothless. We'll see how he behaves after." she explains.

"Ah, so you'l be calling on Redcaps tonight"

"Figured I'd talk to Phobos and Demos and let them take care of it themselves, or pick someone."

"I bet they'd love it" A nod of approval "Both can be imagintive when they need to be"

She nods. "Gives them a chance to see new talent, too."

A nod "Should I see if i can find them as well or did you want to seek them out ersonally?"

"I'll find them, you send out the invites to the sluagh." she nods and does just that.

And off Jessica goes. WIth a plan that is both righteouss, and sure to raise her popularity with the nightmare kith

"You want us to terrorize someone?" Demos says surprised "I mean, WANT us?"

Jess nods. "He's violent and unpleasant. He was hitting his wife, and it's not the first time. He assaulted me too and then got a gun and was heading somewhere that I do not -think- was the practice range. So yes. Let's see if we can't give him a life changing experience tonight. If it helps, I'm going to see if I can get some sluagh to join him tomorrow night."

Phobos smiles "You're the besst boss ever"

"How much can we hurt this guy?" Demos inquires

"Hands-off, please. Be his nightmare, but don't touch him. He's a violent towards women; I figure only women being violent to him might help him see we're not -all- defenseless."

"Oh..." the guys look dissappointed "You want some Shecaps?"

"Caps le rouge" another says

"Mmm... I can see pros and cons to that. Then again, I'm not paid to be this jerk's therapist. I'll leave it up to you; just take the best people for the job, which is to scare him senseless."

"Okay... sorry boss, sounded like you were telling us ONLY women get to do violence or scare him? Is that right. Yes or no"

"No."

A nod

"I was saying that he hits women. I think maybe women hitting -him- might be... karma. But for -scaring- him so bad he doesn't want to touch a woman like that ever again, either gender could work."

"Mmm we're more a hands on or teeth on kith but okay. Are we allowed to damage his property? Chain saw a door, that kind of thing?"

Jess shakes her head. "Be his -nightmare.- Sneak in as he sleeps and scare him but like he might believe it's a dream the next morning. I told him his nightmares would have teeth tonight."

The guys grumble. "Allowed to enchant him?"

"If that'll help, yes."

"It would" A nod

"Okay.. we'll terrorize and horrify"
