She moves from the library to the armory, new selections, a lot more native style weapons which may look primitive but are non the less effective

"How are your people reacting to the adoption of the new style?" she asks, looking them over.

"oh we've lost a few.. happens. Some withdrew out of caution. But others seem intrigued"

"Balances out?"

"Actually we've gained a bit among wilders "

She smiles. "Good."

"Some of the grumps well, bit more of a loss there but over all, a gain"

"Excellent."

She picks up an obsidian tipped spear "Some of this is crafted and empowered to be stronger than steel"

"I read the conquistadors were terrified of these weapons when they encountered them."

"I can see why. Glass cuts in very... interesting ways. Amazing surgical tools"

Jess nods. "I'm glad they're on our side."

"Does Sayda interact with them?"

"Oh yes, she plays with their young ones"

"Good." significant relief "Do you think it would work well to have other childlings come to play too? Would they accept this?"

"Sorry, Jessica. Do you mean your childlings from Fenix? "

"And Tidemarch and others, if they want to come."

"I'm not sure we have enough care takers for that many childlings. I could hire a nanny"

"I could send Dame Ash if it would not upset the Nunnehi.

"I see... she could assist in the baby sitting but thee would still be more than she's used to"

Jess thinks for a moment. "Do you know if the Nunnehi might have someone who would be willing to help?"

"I'll ask around" She nods

Used to her liege being job focused

"If it's not workable, we ditch the idea. For the time being."
