"No, I will." he promises "And if she says yes, it's not like I -expect- you to be there every time. Only if you -want- to."

"It's okay. I think it's great you get some time to be with her and your mom. I don't want to steal too much of it"

He sighs. "It's still ..... weird, and I'm still pissed."

"Pissed?" She blinks "That's a shift."

"No, at my mom and dad. I've -been- pissed."

"Oh.. yes" She nods "I think they liked having you with them for the holiday"

"Yeah. Didn't work, though."

"How do you know?" She says "You know your mom and dad still fantacise about each other right?"

"Less I know about the details there, the happier I am, Nab. I mean.... good for them."

"I just don't..... bah. Nevermind. Screw it."

"Can't do anything about it anyway. They have to. Whatever."

"Can you hand me that tea thermos?"

"Sure" she hands it "And sorry, meant it as a pick me up"

He sits up and takes the flask, pouring a little cup and sipping. "Oh, I know you didn't mean it to bother me, Nab. It's ok. Just.... still sore, that's all."

"Yeah. I see that And if I could make it better"

He sips his tea. "I know, Nab, and thanks. Makes me crazy that I can't make them see sense but...." he shrugs.

He finishes his little cup and then calls out "Come in?"

Zane enters in "Dude. You gotta get sick? On a weekend?"

Adam groans. "Sucks, right!??!" from his position propped up on pillows with a sexy superhero Nab next to him.

"oh yeah" he eyes sexy superhero nab "I could see you were suffering right away"

"You here to rescue me?" Adam bats his eyelashes.

"Oh definitely"

"Dude. I'm glad to see you but be careful? Nab can't catch this but you could. Don't want you sick too." sincerely.

"Relax.. we satyrs have fantastic constitutions"

"Still......" doubtful.

"Dude, It's good. " Zane sahys "now, you have missed So much. Even at the school. It's getting cold right? so the girls are all bundled right? OH contrare! "
