"I'm totally yanking your chain, lover" A grin devilish

He looks up. "Yanking my chain?"

"No orgy?"

"No orgy" a grin "But now you have ideas to want to get healthy for"

"Argh, Nab, believe me.... I want to get healthy." He moves some things aside to mkae room for her. "Come sit. So this orgy you were thinking about, all girls?"

"I don't think Leonora would welcome me, though. Stevi, yeah. Charity seems cool but isn't she with Vince? Well, maybe not exclusively?"

"I think Charity adores Vince but knows he's not exclusive"

"And she's ok with it? I mean, I guess she'd have to be." He snuggles in when she sits.

"I think she knows Vince is vince.. and honestly I've peeked Vince. I don't think there's a woman he doesn't see some beauty in"

"He's got a gift." Adam agrees. "I have trouble with pooka, you know? Getting tricked and all? But Vince.... he seems ok." Adam might have just a little bit of hero worship going on.

"You admire anyone who has his knack with the ladies" A wink

"Well yeah!"

"And he's.... he's smooth, you know? Dresses good. He can talk in poetry too. I never got the knack of that. I tried but....."

"Oh I know Sir Bachdion was workign with you there. Didn't take?"

"I dunno. Guess not. I mean.... like, I try to reach into my head, my heart, to find the right words and they're not there. Same problem just trying to talk to people these days, with the Baroness's challenge? You helped me there, though."

"I did?"

"I mean, you and I kind of planned out some stuff I could talk about and say and stuff for a different occasion, and I've used that idea for this challenge. It's still exhausting, though. Might be why I got sick."

"I don't think you got sick because of THAT'" She tousles his hair gently

"You know, exhaustion wears down your natural defenses."

He shifts and puts his head in her lap. "Thanks for coming back. I made Alanza and Vince stay over there, mostly, just to be safe."

"I know. Very nice of you"

"Anyway. Thanks for the trick about planning out what to say. Buys me time, if nothing else."

"Well, just remember to follow the Baroness' lead. it's good advice"

"I'm trying, I really am." He sighs.

A longish pause. "Nab? Do you think .... am I tedious?"

"What? No." She says then looks at him "I think sometimes you have a habit of expressing your displeasure with something so everyone elsee knows it and then don't stop. But Tediious? No"

"Ok. Thanks."

"How was your day? Tell me stories of the life outside here?" He grins. "Vince had some great ones about the whole battle thing I -MISSED-....." small pout.

"I don't think Vince was in on the battle" She says

"Sure sounded like he was." dubious "I mean.... he had some good stories. Ok, some of it had to be exagerated but still....."

"Well, maybe he was" She says "But yeah...there's talk of trod battles and stuff"

A deep sigh. "On the other hand.... probably wouldn't have heard about it to join in, anyway so..... "

SHe says "As for me? Fake Orgies aside... today was pretty relaxed."

"Yeah? What did you do?"

"I did patrol a little with Leonora, it wasn't exciting but we talked. I saw Vashti working on some new socks for something SO many socks"

"Socks??"

"SOCKS"

"Weird?"

"It sure seems like it. Bright socks, colorful socks, garish socks. One pair lookedl ike little Disco suits"

"Is there some Fae thing about socks I don't know about? Like.... like those house elves in the books?"

"I don't know. Maybe it's a throw back? Or a gease? In past life some voice said 'though shalt make footwear' in frenzies"

Adam chuckles, a little groggy. "Maybe? Hey, do you have plans for Christmas?"

"I thought I'd shove you in a bag"

"Huh?"

"Sorry... Yule urges for Chimera can be funny"

"Yeah?" he grins "Like what?"

"Well, myths and beliefs are strong these times. Good and bad"

"Yeah?"

"So you'll see more things good and bad.. it's heightened. High expectation, lots of anxiety.. etc." A pause "Oh also the Seer says something about a Yule Star?"
