Adam is fighting Tylar, not FIGHT fight, but sparring. The boggan isn't as athletic as him but his lead on sword play training means he's got an edge in skill, the boggan started learning before Adam saw his first Chimera. But they're normally matched.

Now, Adam is having a devil of a time...which is odd. He'd had great dreams after thanksgiving, like he could FEEL How happy his parents were with him, how glad they were to have him. But that was sometime ago... and now he's feeling off

Physical exercise usually helps him focus and get the endorphins going.

"The jugular, the jugular!" Vince calls out helpfully from a vantage point. It's not clear who he's rooting for.

A possum holds out a popcorn bucket for Vince to take a handful.

Normally, but Adam is tired.. bleary...

Adam doubles down, trying to find the zone he's found in basketball.....

He takes some, and offers her a glass of something light and bubbly. Does he just take that beverage cart wherever he goes? Maybe it's sentient and finds HIM.

He gets one shot in, but takes two... then sneezes!

He backs away, lifting his free hand to indicate a Hold and lowering his guard. "Sorry." he wipes his nose on his gym towel.

"Ugh.. but.. we should stop. You look a bit ...sick" He says

Emma laps at the bubbly quite daintily.

"Nah, I'm ok."

"You sure? Because that last shot was your best and normally we go round for round" Tylar says worriedly

Vince murmurs to the possum, "Does his A game suffer for vitamins C and Zinc?"

"Just a little off. Everyone has days like that. Come on." Adam steps back in enguard.

"Okay" He says taking a fighting stance of his own

The possum sits up on her haunches to watch, whiskers a-quiver.

As Adam rallies.. he must deal with mucas building even as he flexes...

It's not his best game, and he knows it. Maybe just get to a draw?

Popcorn and wine! A lovely combo.

Nope. Tylar and he normally get a draw.. this time, Adam is getting his ass kicked. Reflexes off. Balance a bit off. And feeling kind of weak

Shield to FACE on Adam

"Parry, parry!" He calls, quite inappropriately - has Vince ever HELD a sword?

"Adam, are you okay??"

Adam staggers back and drops his blade as he falls on his butt.

And there's no blood on the shield, but a string of snot? Yeah

"Ugh."

He wipes his face. "Shit. Sorry. Yeah. I guess I'm done."

"Yeah. You should see if Emma is done with her drink and ask her to look over you." He offers a hand to help Adam up

Vince waves a handkerchief from the stands - er, the side of the ring.

Like a lady seeing which knight will vie for her favor.

Adam doesn't take it. "Sorry, man, I don't want to get you sick too. No hate." he pulls himself to his feet.

And he waves to Vince.

"Okay, fair" he says

"Young and vibrant lads of daring-do, or should I say, dare-achoo?"

"Thy opponent has struck thee down with some wicked spell! Emma, dearest, hast thou not something in thy cauldron? Some potion, some noxious unguent?"

"Just a cold, Healer. I'll take something, rest, drink liquids."

"Chicken Noodle Soup" Firm nod

"Yeah, I'll get a can."

"Now, in my boxing days, I'd have seen them all battered around the ring." He puts up his fists and does a mock 1-2 punch.

Possum nods at Tyler's suggestion!

"Float like buttered toast, sting like a scraped knee!" He rises, "Shall I tuck thee into bed, friend Adam? Or send fair Delores's angels to tend to thee?"

An Asian Leopard Cat leaps down, and sniffs at Adam shyly

Then makes an 'ugh' face at whatever she smells. Hopefully the cold

"Thanks.... I don't want to make a big deal out of WOAH that's a CAT!"

Adam blinks as the large cat sniffs him.

"A cat is a cat, and that is that." He adds, "Though a particularly MARVELOUS cat, is that."

A purring sound at Vincent's comment
