Alanza drops by again, "Adam, I got you more soup. My turn."

"I'm gonna float away on all the soup and juice. But thanks." He gestures. "Want to just leave it there? I don't want you to get too close and get sick."

She nods and sets it down where he ddirects "I got your homework for you, projects and such"

"Ugh. Thanks." Dryly. "Such a pal."

"Zane plans to drop by later"

"You guys got a date?" He grins.
earldebuke 3:34pm
"Had one, it was nice" She admits "But he was worried about you so that was a downer. Get well soon so he's more fun again" She grins

Adam chuckles, then covers a cough. "Sorry. Yeah, I'm going all the stuff you're supposed to. Sucks."

"Hey, it's okay. Sir Sergei worries about you, though he doesn't say so. I think he's got visits from some Ailil lady? "

"Ailil lady? From SilverWolf?"

"Yeah, that's the one. Calanthe?"
shadylady 3:48pm
"I think she's the sister of the Silverwolf Baron. Huh. She came -here-?"

"I think so. Why?"
shadylady 3:50pm
"Dunno. I guess our dogs and birds made a good impression?"

"Birds. She's bonkers about Birds" A nod "Speaking of which, Kansas is a wee bit surly without you there."

"Awww. Tell her I'll come as soon as I'm allowed?"

"I will" she smiles

He sighs wistfully. "I wish I could hug you, hang out."

"Me too"
shadylady 4:06pm
"Maybe more?" he grins.

"You're yucky now" She laughs
shadylady 4:11pm
"Well, I'd shower first. But you gotta stay healthy." sad sigh.

"Later, Romeo" She says

"I'll take that raincheck." Another grin.

"Anything else interesting going on?"

"You know about Fort Davis.. the Barony of Brightwinds they're calling it... so not sure there. Some folks are getting supplies and care packages to send"

"When are they sending them?"
earldebuke 4:19pm
"I think possibly when the Baroness and Baron go to visit"
shadylady 4:19pm
"Well, if I can get back on my feet in time I'd like to help."

"I'll let folks know" She says
shadylady 4:22pm
"Tanks. Ugh, excuse me." He blows his nose.

She steps back "Don't let the soup get cold. See you"
shadylady 4:25pm
"Thanks again, Alanza. It was good to see you."

"You too. Get better" She heads out

When she's gone he gets up and gets the soup, tasting it as he heads back to bed.

He sits up in the nest-like bed and looks over the school work glumly.

Well, no reason to push it. He sips the soup again, just looking to see what's due. Not that he's going to do any of it, not just now at least.

That's good enough. he shoves the books and stuff away and tastes the soup again.

Oo this one has some meat thrown in.. if Emma knew her veggie stew had been defiled..

Adam won't tell, but he does like the inclusion of meat. Growing boy, after all!

His appetite was dimmed by the cold, seems to be better today. Good sign?

He's finished the novel. Schoolwork is too hard for now. Bored....

"Cub in?"

Vince strolls in. Even when he is being quiet for a sickroom, he makes an entrance. It's like his entire presence just says "TA-DAH! Here I am!"

Adam brightens. "Vince! Hi!"
