"Ohooo she's not telling?" A grin

"Somehow, she failed to mention it." Adam grins back.

'And what happened to the balls of you guys when the water went cold again?" Nab smirks

"I try not to remember that part" he says

Sheepish

"Ok, so who were the guys?"

"Well, only three guys. Myself and" he names the others.

"I like the odds."

"What else?"

"Oh we had an adventure of another sort...."

"Yeah? Man, this cold SUCKS. I missed ALL the adventures....." a sigh.

"Dude, you turn down some of them last I saw.. helping people and shit? you'd be surprised how many baddies try to take advantage of a flood"

"Oh. Those. Yeah." he shrugs. "I'm looking at other ways to help people."

"Can't always pick and choose and still expect Da'an to provide, mi amigo. We fought a fire drake in california"

"Got any cool scars?"

"Nah, they heather balmed us"

"Aw, bummer."

"I guess....." thoughtfully ".... I'll have to make my own adventures."

"Get well first. And dude if you want adventure why didn't you SAY SO?"

"Yeah, yeah. I'm resting and drinking everything they bring me. Dude, who -doesn't- want adventure?" he makes a face "Of course, -when- is the question."

"Well, get well and if I hear of one I'll try to invite you "

"Cool. I appreciate it, Dude."

"Anyway. You haven't missed much here, just me blowing my nose and Nab taking care of me." He grins at her.

"Oh yeah, you're suffering" he oggles Nab again

She winks

Adam kisses her cheek. "Not with her taking care of me, I'm not."

"Kind of my point"

Adam pours himself another little cup of tea. "Probably be back to school this week." he makes a face "Figures, right? Just lose the -weekend-."

"It's cool dude. I'll help you catch up"

"Thanks." dubiously "Alanza brought stuff over but my head's been too clogged to make much sense of it."

"Oh sure.. hey, I'll help you now if yo uwant"

"Ugh. No thanks."

"Okay. See you around man"

"Sorry, I just cant right now. still clogged up. Later?"

"Definitely!" he says

And off he goes.

Nab says "rest"

Adam drinks up his tea. "One more cup of tea and a pee break, and I'll lie down." he promises.

As he pours.

"Fine." And.. well, it's good tea.. and a great pee break

And after the good (SPECIAL) tea, Adam might find it all the easier to nap a bit. (Thanks Vince!)
