"Don't get to close, ok? Don't want you to get sick."

"Me? I am as hearty as a mountain goat. Nothing can floor me, save for a come hither look."

"What's up?"

"I came to see if you had deceased. There was a smell, but that must have just been Shalimar's passing."

"Dunno, could be me; kinda funky." Adam grins. "Kinda felt like I might die, but mostly it's just a cold. Sucks, but....."

"Might be getting some appetite back, though."

"A growing boy should have healthy appetites." He grins, and takes a perch leaning against a dresser, if there isn't a chair handy.

"Please don't die, though. It would make so many people mourn and really, the depressing atmosphere makes it hard to work."

A face, like he would really regret the mild inconvenience to himself.

"I'm not -planning- on dying. Promise. Too much life to live!" A sigh. "Even if it does feel like it'll take forever to get there."

"Well, if you promise." He makes an exaggerated glancing around motion, then approaches. "I brought you a little bit of medicine." A small flask produced. "I am certain they will fill you up with hot tea. Make it into a toddy, on me?"

Adam brightens again. "Oh man, Vince, you're the best! Yeah, I'm floating on tea and soup. Here." He points out the tea flask.

He takes the tea flask, gives it a sniff, and tops it off with his own. "There's the ticket. Candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker." Handing it back, adulterated.

"I'm gonna hang onto this, maybe drink some at bedtime. Although being just stuck here in my room, it's kind of bed time all the time."

"Well, I can keep thou company, for as long as thy nerves can stand it. I will eventually get upon the last of them, alas, and you must tell me."

"That's really great of you, Vince." sincerely "Thank you. What's been going on? I'm bored out of my mind."

"We-ell....." He starts in on a fantastical explanation of the news from Bright Winds. If he hasn't heard the story yet, he'll get a version that is more or less... eh.... 70% true, and 30% fabrication

If he KNOWS already, it may be an entertaining listen!

Perhaps Adam didn't know the part where Vince slew a dozen Balor knights with a single blow of his paw.

And they named a mountain after him. It's true, look it up.

Adam eats it up wide-eyed and eager to BE there in some way, even if it's second-hand.

"Damnit!" He sighs and flops back. "I miss all the good stuff."

"Trust me, my version is much better than being there. And I was there, so I would know!"

"By my mane, once thou art well, I shall take you to see my mountain. It is a oath!" It is not an oath. But it might be a promise?

"Ugh. Stupid cold. Stupid school." He perks up a bit and looks at Vince. "Yeah? I'd like to see it. Alanza said people were putting together donations; if I can get better in time I'd like to help deliver, or something."

"Maybe see Lady Sparrow...." wistful.

He pats Adam on the leg reassuringly. "Rest up, laddie, they will still be there when you are refilled with vigor and vim. Extra vim, that's my secret recipe."

"I can tell!" He gestures to the tea flask.

He gives Adam a grin. "Rest ye now, and recover."

"Thanks for coming by, Vince. I owe you."

"Pish, and tosh. But I will take that, for I am a wiley fae, and beware ye when I cash in thy debt."

Wiggling fingers in a spooky manner.

"You're a solid guy, Vince. Thanks."

A chuckle, and he departs, leaving Adam perhaps a bit more cheered.

He is, indeed, at least for a bit. Schoolwork is still too hard. Adam roots around for something to do.

Mmm his mentors left him some books. Swashbuckling tales, superhero fiction, and sports magazines

He looks over the sports magazines, but leaves them and takes the fiction. Back to bed.

Nab comes in wearing a sexy little superheroine outfit "I wondered why I felt the urge to wear this"

"Heeeeeyyyyy....." he drawls a little hoarsely "Come give me a hug? See, I'm being good." He shows that he's planted in bed and his reading.

She hugs him a good big hug

"Mmmm......" he steals a kiss too, and takes comfort in the contact from her.

"Who brought the soup? You got visitors?"

"Alanza came by with the soup, and Vince came by too."

"Ugh, I miss people. And excitement. And doing things."

"Oh yeah" She nodss "the orgy was fantastic today"

"I missed an ORGY?!?!" Salt in his Wounds!!

"Leonora was wearing JUST a blindfold... and how she got Stevi and Charity to go along I don't know...."

"AAaaagh!!" Adam may die.

"And there was this new lady, what was her name? Darn if I know, but she reminded me of Sparrow... Redheads right?"

He moans quietly.
