"I don't think the thanes think so!" Still a little guilt-ridden on that one. He keeps a wary eye out for any scorched or wet looking Hemlock retainers.

"My mom is the best cook, and Connor is the best Squire."

"My Knight is the best Baker, and an okay knight too!"

"You saved the Count, Connor, you AND gerd" She says as if that settles it, then a grin "Tove won I heard about .. your cookies? How did they do?" to Dags

"Well, we saved 'em from those bad guys, but almost not from Us."

He admits with a bit of a blush.

"Yes. the thunderstrom is ah.. Problemeatic"

"I.. um.. got third. And the ribbon smells like cookies. But, like, a LOT of stuff went wrng for other people, so..."

"Balderdash, a win is a win" Nadeen hugs her "Congratulations. I'm so proud of you"

Connor adds himself to the hug, arms around all four legs.

Nadeen says "he's getting a strong little grip, your squire"

"Yup! He works hard!"

Nadeen tossles his hair

"I work my hands on polishing armors but my KNight keeps getting em SMASHED again. "

A big grin, obviously proud of Dagmar's exploits.

"Hey, there's a dent in your armor" Nadeen says

"Ohyeah, the redcap bit me."

"Biting isn't nice." In a sing-song tone. A finger wagged.

"Let's get that fixed " Nadeen says in a nononsense way and leads them towards a smith

"Do we have time?"

"Yes yes... I know a lady" She moves to a brunette smith

"Lady Nadeen? Come for a new armor, an armor o power and elegance, just as strong, but half the weight-" the lady says

"Just patch Dame Dagmar's armor with a heatherbalm , Kayte" Nadeen says "She has to joust soon"

Kayte makes a face but nods and moves to see the armor "Hold still, Dame."

"Nadeen..."

Nadeen puts some dross down. "Too late Dagmar, payment is on the table. you can't stop me, I'm a wild woman."

Kayte taps the armor making Dagmar feel like an empty oil drum... then releases some glamor

There's a clink POP Sound that might startle Connor

His ears pop up too!

And...tada.. the armor is restored. though it could still use a shine

Tip toes, he starts rubbing at it with his sleeve.

"Didn't hafta do that..."

Nadeen says "I did. I've upset you recently and I'm not entirely unaware. Symon is your friend and I was.. " A sigh "NOT Funny. I shouldn't have.." Her eyes widen "Oh no"

"Does Star need fresh armor too?" He looks over all the options, wide eyed.

"Oh no?"

There is barding

Nadeen explains "That thing Symon made.. it wasn't in the explosiion, but might have got hit by the winds. What if it got damaged for real? or blown off?"

"Man, I hope not..."

"Dagmar, gimme?" He says, the word feeling like please. He tugs at the edge of her breast plate.

"I need to polish and it's HARD when you're tall."

Nadeen picks him up to let him reach "Oh he's getting bigger" Maybe. Maybe not

"Oof!" And he rubs his sleeve at her shoulder. "This is easier with the polishin' stuff in our tent. I could take it and bring it back all done."

A grin to Nadeen, he DOES like her attention though, a bit of a ham.

"Well, I guess so... c'mon, get that stupid tricky buckle while you're up there..."

Nadeen snorts at Connor "Little charmer"

And she smiles

He skillfully gets the buckle! Little fingers are handy.
