Cheeky grin, seeming already much revived from earlier.

"I'll be fencing. No armor, but thank you" She says

He gathers up the breastplate that is almost bigger than his entire head and torso, and heaves it ovr a shoulder. "I'll be back in two shakes! Oof. maybe three!" And trots off to polish up.

"He's a good kid" Nadeen says, then looks to Dagmar "Would you.. do you want me to apologize to the.. to Symon?" A breath "I will if you want me to"

Furrow.

"It ain't right to apologize if you don't mean it."

"But I am sorry I did it," she says "Because it made you think less of me" Nadeen says

"Well. If you want to."

"I do. Symon is your friend and I guess a mix of my own distrust of sluagh, which I HAVE worked on, hard, and maybe a bit of envy and jealoousy got me mean."

"I know you've worked on it." She nods.

"Thank you"

"But that doesn't excuse me ruining your fun...even if that wasn't the goal."

Nadeen looks at Dagmar again as if making sure she's really okay. then nodding

"I haven't seen a lot of Symon, lately. Covid makes stuff hard."

"And he can be ..reclusive" Recognition

"His Dad has been real hard about school, too."

"Of course. "

Soon enough, however - horses and tack and equipment. Prep for the joust.

Horns sound as everyone is ready. The crowds are HUGE! Ever, the joust is eager

well, brings out the eager!

Dagmar once assisted Brekke, now she has a horse of her own ready to join in

Nadeen has met with Aiden, and taking a spot in a seat with a great view "Baron, remember, I did warn you about cheeering"

Brekke has donned her armor and put Stormwake's barding on, double- and triple-checking everything.

Frank is in the audience, on the sides.

She is focused, serious, but she does look to the audience, seeking Frank.

Dagmar does check on Brekke, while Connor tags along with an armful of lances twice his height.

Siv is near her dad with Jonas and if she wants, Piper. Siv points to the stands "Look at that!"

Brekke nods to Dagmar. "You are ready?"

In the RIvervale citizen stands, instead of large nerf foam fingers, folks are lifiting up giant Foam Silver HANDS!

The glimmer of the hands waving catches Brekke's eye and...well, she groans quietly, possibly only for Dagmar and Connor to hear.

"We're both ready, Chief. Go kick ass, I'll try not to be a fool."

Brekke turns and faces her squarely. "Dame...you are a formidable jouster. I have no illusions that this will be easy. Do not doubt yourself."

Connor giggles. “DOn’t hurt anyone ToO bad, Stormy.” He advises the horse.

"Just make the Baron fly, yeah? It's good luck!"

Aiden has joined Nadeen in the stands, and smiles slightly. “And who should I cheer from? With no dog of my own in this fight, pardon the rough phrasing?”

"Hmph. Must try to please the crowd." She nods.

Piper sneaks a hand into Siv’s if she can, and watches the joust with wide eyes. Hopefully no one gets hurt!

Nadeen says "Well, if you wish to please the lady escorting you, you'll cheer for Dame Dagmar and Chieftain Brekke. If it helps, cheer for the troll, not for their House" A smile at him that could light up the stars

There are chants at Teaneck as well. But it is not for the Baron.

"Doomwind! Doomwind!" Some howl

And Dame Calanthe slides in on Aiden’s other side - he does not notice at first, lost in that smile. “Oh, I put my bet on the Doomwind. An interesting matchup, it promises.” She purrs. “a pleasure as always, Baroness.”

Dagmar is kitted out - gold and green and blue on her tabard, and a black and gold favor tied around her bicep.

"Congratulations on your performance, Dame Calanthe, in the hawking" Nadeen says

Brekke's colors are much like Dagmar's. Rivervale's Gwydion contingent represents.

Doomwind has Gray, pruple and gold, mostly gray. She has the aura of a sidhe, not even the armor can hide that, but the SIZE of her! She's almost troll big
