"Yeah. That was fun!"

She looks at the remains, seeing if anything looks like it would appeal to Symon.

She looks inside. Hello, what's this? A whole spool, the size of a construction spool with hundreds of strong red threads with hooks on them that weren't used.

Perhaps this nightmare was dreamed by an over worked costumer in the theatre department?

"Huh."

"He might like this."

"To the victor goes the spool" He says deadpan

Snort.

"yeah I know, don't tell Vali he got to me" dryly a closer look at the spool and hooks "Does seem Symon's cup of tea. Grab it.. we'll take it with us. I think that counts as a scrap"

"Yeah. I feel good."

"You looked good. Solid form, good stance" A nod "Course you're kind of bleeding. " He reaches into a pack "I don't know much it will help, but I got a Kerri cookie here for emergencies"

"Well... yeah. Cool."

Once they get back into the apartment, and set the spool down, he offers the cookie. Smells like Kerri's kitchen

She takes and devours it.

"You two liking the empty nest?"

"You kidding? Now that Sylvi's not there, when a mess gets made in our part of the place, the wife KNOWS it's me"

The cookie works it's magic, not totally healing Dagmar but turning it into a shallow wound at worst, a bruise at best

"Nah, it's not so empty..wife is baby sitting Theon. And the lodge stays busy. It does feel emptier ... sure. And we miss you guys. But it's plenty busy and I can't say wer're all around the couch fighting over the TV remote"

She flexes, and seems satisfied with the level of healing.

"Well, lodge is missing the middle. Kids and grumps left."

A nod "We got a little help, and the Goldfinch crew races over, but some truth to that" He doesn't mention the DeBukes on loan

"Sylvi's doing Goldfinch for Samhain."

"I... might be here. Dunno."

"You know you're always welcome at the lodge, even if it's going to be kind of quiet. Especially then"

"Yeah...."

"Maybe it'll be wild here."

"Well, whatever you decide, wherever you decide to stay, I knwo you got this. You, Sylvi, you've both become amazing young women "

"Mm."

She pokes around the fridge. "Wings?"

NOT offering food from her Tove-and-Kerri hoard, but hey.

"Sounds great" He gets it.

...Dagmar doesn't share the Scarlet Knight ones, mind, but Olgar has his pick of others.

Olgar prefers the bold BBQ flavor

As they eat, Dag tells him about her classes - Symon has been helping her with math, but it sounds like she's holding her own in the others.

Olgar listens, nods, and to prove he's been listening says "Okay sounds like the Lit teacher you got is actually interesting"

"Yeah! We're reading this Alice Walker book right now..."

"The Color Purple?" He asks interested

She nods!

"I enjoyed it. Really empowering. Better than the movie, and I'm a whoopi fan"

"I haven't seen the movie. But... it.. yeah, I like it."

"Good. I won't spoil what comes yet. Good selection your teacher has so far."

She nods!

"It's a lot of talking in class, instead of lectures, which is weird but okay..."

"Hey if she's got folks interested she's doing well. Trust me, I've taught some wilders, still do, you kids speak a whole nother lingo. Got to learn some of it to keep their interest so props to her. Some one told me I was based. I nodded, but I have no idea if I was insulted or not."
