Another little grin.

A key in the front door, and Sylvi breezes in with a "Heyyy-yy!" greeting to the apartment in general.

"Hey."

"WIpe your feet" A dad voice, a smile

She does scootch her treat hoard a bit closer.

"Dad?" Initial alarm as she closes the door. "Is something wrong at the Lodge? Mom okay?"

"SHe's fine. I stayed away from the Campus proper, but I brought some food in.."

"We killed a chimera!"

"To be fair, Dagmar got the real blows in, I tripped it up a little. Tough critter. Dead now. Symon gets a spool" He has finishes that piece of chicken and wipes his hands on a nap kin to give his daughter a hug "Missed you"

"Where?" regarding the chimera, and she goes over to give her dad a quick hug before snagging a wing from his plate.

A snort "Least I came before the wing" Then he says "This little Alley. It was hanging on the side ready to ambush folks. It tried. It died."

"Course it did," Sylvi says, nibbling on the wing. "You and Dagmar? It didn't stand a chance. I almost feel sorry for it."

Olgar might have noticed the sexy devil outfit....

"is there a party tonight or something?" He asks

"Ooh, I hope so," she says with a smile.

A grunt.

"Probably."

"I meant the costumes. Disney character and she devil?"

Sylvi stops nibbling on the wing to look down at her own voile, then over at Dagmar...and she snickers. "We didn't do this. Not sure who did."

"Luisa's cool, though."

"I mean, not that I mind. And yeah, Luisa IS cool!"

Olgar closes his eyes, hand to temple, not in a headache, but a focus

"Oh, Dad, you should have seen Dagmar at the club...she totally was owning the floor."

"It's just voile."

At that his eyes open "Yeah? Good. Glad you two are getting out. The voile seems to be a kind of universal influence around here, halloween on the mind and all. You should be able to alter it with effort if you want, like imaginging over ride your vision. But yeah no harm"

"I think it was...was it Masey?...somebody said that because there's nobody really in charge here, that the glamour gets a little wild, too."

"I like it," she says, going to the fridge and getting a soda.

Olgar already got the talk from his wife about restraining protective dad urges when it comes to modesty years ago. So he endures.

"It's... not worth fighting." Not SAYING she likes it...

"I can still kick ass in a miniskirt."

Sylvi gives Dagmar a grin. "Yeah!"

THAT gets a grin "Both of you can do a beat down in tutus if need be. yeah"

"Damn right we can," she says, popping the can of soda open. "That reminds me...have you seen Basil lately?"

"Damn straight." She licks her fingers after polishing off her box of leftover wings.

"Piper's cuz?"

"Yeah."

"Basil? Yeah, he's patrolling around Goldfinch, gets some spear sparring with the Chief. And he's getting riled for the upcoming mortal elections. Why?"

An overly casual shrug. "You made me think, with the tutus comment, about how he wanted to spar with me after Pennons. I won." A grin.

"YEAH?" Suddenly fatherly pride bursting out "He's good with a spear so nice! You've been keeping in practice, clearly!"

A prideful smirk. "Bet I could give you a run for your money, Dad."

A sly eyebrow.

"Huh."

Sylvi catches the glance from Dagmar, then gives a little amused shrug.

Her phone buzzes, and she takes it out of a pocket to check it.

"I bet you could" He says, perhaps taking the fun out of it "You and Dagmar should practice a bit when you get the time. Though with patrols..."

"Well , with patrols that lead to monsters like what Dagmar and I ran into, you'll get plenty of practice of a serious sort" Nod to the Gwydion
