The three year old seems curious

"And..." Kerri pauses. "You three have...talked?"

"We're back together, so everything is fine." Piper says to Kerri, with emphasis. She holds onto one of Jonas's hands.

"We've talked." She elaborates, and asks, "Please keep.. what you know private, until it's something we're ready to share?"

"Absolutely," Kerri assures. She looks like she wants to say more, but instead she just hugs each of them in turn.

"Later, when it's not... all this? I need to see about some thoughts."

"Mm." Brekke nods to Dagmar, looking a bit troubled.

"We should also speak more, soon. After you see May."

Piper looks a little surprised by the hug, but returns it.

Ives hangs back, not liking crowds at least not being in the center of them

Sylvi walks up behind Dagmar and clears her throat. "Excuse me, Chieftain? Could Dirk and I borrow Dagmar?"

Ironically he might be near Symon

She chews on a hangnail and nods.

Symon eyes Ives.

"Hm? Yes, yes." Brekke nods. "Thank you, Dame."

Ives doesn't bother him, the DeBuke just avoids the more crowded area

If they make eye contact, he gets a small nod - then Symon is back to scanning the area, watching for something. Someone?

"Hello CJ. No, you wouldn't remember me. My name is Jessica. My mommy and daddy are Brekke and Frank."

"Thank you, Chieftain." Sylvi all but tugs Dagmar away.

Dagmar is tugged. Brow? ("What's up?")

"I hope you don't mind," Sylvi murmurs to Dagmar as they join Dirk, "but that looked like it was getting serious, and now is not the time."

Nod back from Ives

CJ grins "COOL. That makes us FAMILY" A pause "Should we hug?"

Brekke goes to where Jess has stationed herself and surveys the party.

Dirk says "We cool, Dagmar?" Asking

"I guess. I mean, you know I usually hide at parties anyways."

"Yeah? Sorry I broke your face earlier."

As Sylvi pulls Dagmar away, and the Chief takes up a spot to survey, Brekke may be the first to notice the stranger who has walked up. A fae, but not one she knows... on the shorter side, but not as rounded as most Boggan, and without their impressively bushy brows. She has wavy locks of red hair - the true Irish color, nothing that can come from a bottle, and her voile has green elements - not over the top, but represented on the clurichaun wilder.

"Hm." Brekke catches Kerri's eye and nods towards the newcomer, a question?

Kerri catches the look and follows it, then gives a surprised look back and a small shrug. Then she rises and goes to meet the clurichaun.

"I'd like that." Jess kneels down and opens her arms, inviting.

"Welcome to Rivervale Lodge. I'm Kerri, the Hearth here. I don't believe we have met?"

"Broke? Fah. Prissy did worse"

CJ Hugs Jessica happily "We're gonna have Burgers and HOTDOGS! You like those?"

"So I think we're all good with each other," Sylvi checks with the other two.

"I hope so?"

"Good. Hey, who's that?" Sylvi indicates the new arrival.

"Chief knows. So, yeah, no slacking on my part now." Dag looks over.

"...oh. She's pretty."

FROWN.

The girl's brow wrinkles just a little as she considers, then clears! "Hearth, that's like... a steward, right? Only, like.. more important? I'm sorry, I don't know your rank, or I'd be sure to greet you properly." She curtseys, polite. "My name is Cairrean. I'm new to Rutgers this semester, and I was invited to your party, and to meet the locals..." She smiles up at Kerri.

Dirk looks over "Huh cute"

"Oh!" Kerri smiles. "Well, you're certainly welcome. You're friends with Sylvi and Dagmar and Symon?"

"I -love- those. But are you old enough to eat those?" she has hugged him gently and is now teasing.

Brekke watches the interaction between Jessica and CJ with quiet amusement.

"i'm a big boy now..." CJ nods proudly then whispers "You don't gotta pickaside bt if you ask Uncle Olgar if you can try some of HIS after trying Uncle Frank, you get both"

At that, Symon finally manages to make his way over to Kerri. It took a while to weave through the crowd without being stepped on, and to get close enough for his whisper to be heard.

"Hearth, I invited her." He whispers to Kerri. "Kerri, this is my, uh. my friend, Cairrean." His cheeks bruise up a bit.

Kerri blinks at Symon uncomprehendingly for a moment...then recovers. "Oh! Well, wonderful, and welcome Cairrean. Come and help yourself to some refreshments."

Dagmar is watching the newcomer like a hawk.
