Ganbold's eyes ligght up "Never forggive a debt. i shall be a generous Khan to serve, and a terror to cross! Perfect! thanks Dagmar' And he hugs her

"Kid's weird" Daria mutters/ "Very weird" Tiara agrees.

For once they seem to unite

"He's just fine" Fawn fusses at them

A little grin from Dag.

Buck gives a boisterous laugh at the whole exchange.

"Now, you gotta respect nature in Brekke's lands - the trees, the water, the wildlife - mundane or chimerical."

"We don't hunt carelessly."

"And if you go picking fruit, watch out for monkeys."

Dag laughs. "Snow is... enthusiastic..."

"Snow in Summer?" Confusion

Now Connor is giggling, too.

Star switches her tail and snorts a bit. Keep away from MY apples, she seems to say.

Daria gglances over, "You mean like this tree?" And she plucks a fruit

"Snow is a monkey."

"Ah, that makes sense now" Fawn smiles

Connor checks the branches above...

Linwood has been quite quiet compared to the others, but he has paid attention and his eyes widen.

"FRUIT " A white monkey leaps out of a tree and snatches the one from Daria's hand "THANK YOU THANK YOU NEW FRIEND! It is so nice to meet you! " And she bounds to another branch

"The hell?" Daria blurts

Tiara breaks out in laughter

"How? Snow, were you following us?"

"I swear, you have a secret talent..."

"Fruit is SNOW'S passion and Duty, Friend Dagmar" Happy Crunch

Buck grins "I like this one"

"A fruit for all seasons?"

"There is a fruit, for all seasons " Snow begins to sing. She is not good.

Linwood's eyes widen as music is defiled before his eyes 'maybe we should move on? yes please?"

Dag lobs a second apple at the monkey. "Yes. Seeya Snow!"

Stormwake contiues to be in a fussy mood. He's transporting a non warrior when one of the HALF horses could do it

Though Connor does clean stalls and bring carrots and scratch the itchy spots...

Connor does do those things, and even keeps Spark busy by playing with the foal, who otherwise likes games such as "Trip Father", "Tail Chase", and "Jump onto the stable roof"...

Stormwake... endures

As they travel, Dagmar finds Daria has a true appreciation of nature. Fawn is sage like. Buck is easy going and a bit loud at times. Tiara is high minded and embraces the fantasy and chivalry

Dag points out some of the quieter wonders of the woods - some chimera, yes, but also the robin's nests and the hidden cache of wildflowers.

Ganbold already likes Damgar, but tries to chat up Connor "Tell me more of this shadowpaw clan? Do they do contract work for young enteprisinng conquerors?"

"Hmmmmmm....." He strokes his chin as though there was a sage's beard there. "But you don't have any PAWS...."

"But, neither does Jack. So, it's okay. Nobody is PERFECT." A grin to the othr boy."

Ganbold grins and strokes wwhat will one day a fu manchu musache, "Excellent"

"Nothing to worry about there at all" Linwood whispers as the childlings plot
