Buck smiles "I think I'm the wimp here compared to Daria. I like the open air, but I also want some AC come summer"

"Oh yeah. And once you're sained, there's the Dreaming which is... magical."

"The silver trods!" Ganbold declares "Olgar the Rover mentioned that. He says my plans to lead a mighty horde across the lands must wait, but the trods will be very useful for it"

"Yeah, pretty much. Bet ya'll could fly on a trod, not having to worry about mortal eyes."

"Why can't we go NOW thenn?" Daria is lit up

"Not safe" Fawn reminds "Dame Dagmar is looking out for us"

"I went to the Dreaming before I was sained, brought back a guest in my head. Do not recommend."

"You don't have enough.. uh... sense of self?... to not be vulnerable to a lot of wild magic there."

Daria seems swayed by the idea of someone in her head .She makes a face "No one is RIDING Me, nnot in my head or ottherwise . Fine"

"Xactly."

Buck asks "Any other dangers we need to be on the look out for?"

"Which is why only a dumbass runs off."

"Well, I think we got most of the hunters now..."

"But there's Banality..."

Fawn tuts "Dagmar...I wouldn't call yourself a dumb ass for runninggg into the dreaming back then, sometimes young folks get frustrated, eager or angry, and without a target, well... tthey're liable to have to learn a hard way. You're a fine young lady. I can tell"

She frowns.

"And I've ..wha is it? grumpslained? I'm sorry. You were saying 'banality'?" She looks apologetic

"Banality is.... disbelief, partly."

"Feels cold" the childing pipes up remembering earlier

"But also rejection of wonder. Of magic. Wanting to reduce the world to neat little boxes and categories... and yes, it feels cold."

"It's what we fight."

"And it kills all of us, eventually."

Tiara shivers "It's what nearly destroyed our kith before"

"I suspect, yeah, it's gonna be tough for you - like, when I have to be "small" is tough..."

"Sam's tall, but not Dagmar tall."

Buck snaps his fingers "So much for that volkswaggon beetle I had my hopes on"

Tiara smacks his shoulder "You're the biggest one of us all, beef cake"

"Yeah... challenges."

"You can forget yourself. It's scary."

The grow somber a bit.

Daria mutters "i'd rather die. I've already forgotten my past. I will not forget who I am" Fierce

Fawn touches Daria gently, in a manner that might remind Dagmar of Kerri

"We will rescue you. That's - you get the escheat talk?"

"Yup . Sir Vali, nice young man, then Mountainn Frank to make sure Vali didn't joke too much... then.. ah, Dirk. His take was interesting"

"Dirk's a cap, so.. yeah."

"But then you know about Rescue."

"Even Unseelie should follow the Escheat, they just have their own spin."

"Olgar talked abou unnseeliness" Daria nods "Said I might be unseelie"

"Could be."

"Seelie tend to be more about order and duty."

"Unseelie is passion and freedom."

"But we contain both, and can be both."

Buck nods "Fair. I don't mind a duty as long as I was free to choose it"

"Yeah. Lots of Unseelie go on pride."

"I think I'll stick with the Seelie side" Fawn smiles "Beauty is life sounds, very true to these old eyes"
