Inside during the clean ups, cookies offered and so on , Siv and Jessica find themselves somewhat in awe of how fast Sally Mae and Brogan work to clean up, dispense healing cookies and more. Folks still turn to Jessica for any choices for the moment but it is clear the lodge is secure..ish 🙂

"We're back, Chief" Zane tells Jessica as he returns with a fishbowl with a crimson fish in it

"How did it go? All is well?"

"Sir Carowyn....?"

"Wounnded but alive" Zane informs her, Zane himself has a nasty abrrasionn that looks like half of him got dragged on road.

"Where is he? Sally Mae, Brogan? You are needed."

"On it, Chieftain" Sally Mae yells already rushinng out

"Where is Sir Carowyn?" Jess asks belatedly.

"Here.." Caroywn assures through a window, Lucia holding him up.

Jess goes to help him in, if there is room in the crowd to do so....

Sally mae is already over him, getting a cookie shoved in his mouth

But Jessica can join

Siv asks Jessica "You ever learn heather balms, sis?"

"No. Since Fenix, there wasnt a need."

Clearly, Carowyn will be fine
"Come in when you can, Sir." Jess goes in to check on Zane.

Zane has opened one of Olgar's beers despite not yet being twennty one "I earned." He takes a swig

Siv grins at that "I won't tell if Jess doesn't"

Jess does not appear to notice his choice of beverage. She does notice if his wounds have been treated.

Not , Zane is resting

"Brogan, can we spare a cookie or other healing here?"

"Yes, Chief" he rushes about

"Thank you.""

Everyone has gotten SOME healing at least.

'So, " Siv inclines her head at her sister "Things well at Fenix?"

"Good. Some issues with drug dealers but we are handling it."

A nod "If you need or want help, we're herrre for you" A smile "Just like you're always here for us"

Jessica nods, and she might be just a bit preoccupied with the care of the Lodge for the time being.

And Siv moves to her own duties

Dagmar is in one of her happy places - in the kitchen, cutting up veggies under Kerri's direction.

Dagmar doesn't actually need much direction these days. Kerri gives her a grin and a nod. She's working on squash while Dagmar's working on carrots.

"Then, like, this voice came and shook down the wards! So we all headed inside..." Kerri gets the play by play as Dagmar chops.

"Mm-hm?" Kerri continues chopping.

"Yeah, it sounded... familiar? Dunno."

"Anyhow, we smashed through the dragon-teeth soldier guys..."

A brief faltering of her chopping rhythm, but only for a moment. "Good thing. Sounds like you could have easily been outnumbered."

"Yeah, it was totally a huge help."

"SKREEEEE!" A sharp squawk interrupts, perhaps to Kerri's relief. Symon belatedly pushes the kitchen door open. He has earbuds in, but is wincing none-the-less.

"Oh! Babygirl!"

Heading in from the side yard, not the main lodge. And he blinks. Maybe he read her lips wrong.... OH. Yeah, the CRITTER.

"Oh, goodness, Symon. I'm sorry, that must be awful for you."

Dag abandons the carrots to fetch some scraps.

He shrugs, and pulls the door shut, before taking out his earbuds, leaving the critter just outside. "Need a better cage for it. I'm not sure we can use a harness - cat claws and bird beak will rip anything leather to shreds."

"The thing they had it in was barely big enough to sit up, it couldn't even stretch. I'm using Scrot's carrier for now, but Dirk said he'd feed it to me if I got bird shit in it. Ah, sorry Hearth. Bird doins. Not like it WOULD, the ass-half is cat."

"Well, maybe something big enough for her to hop around in would make her happier and less screamy?"

A pause. "...Do you think she'd get along with the wolves?"

Kerri waves off the apology.
