"I thought undoing was bad?" Fawn has been listening

"Undoing is very bad indeed. Fawn, did you see where he went?"

"It is. And he's either going to do that, or worse, because he's a bitch."

Connor twitches and SITS on his hand before he can point to the swear jar.

"Dagmar, enough." Kerri's voice is firm and final.

"Down the path past the garden way" Fawn answers

Scowl. But she's quiet.

Fawn ponders "Darnn missed that. Jordan's been busy with us. I didn't think to see how HE was doing"

Kerri considers. "Fawn, I'm going to see if I can find him. Perhaps...Dagmar, that tour would be helpful, please. SallyMae, you have the hearth," she passes on authority for the moment as she heads out of the kitchen.

Connor looks a bit lost, and unsure what to do.

A little jaw jut.

"Connor, could you saddle Star and Stormwake? Tell Stormwake you'll be riding him."

A glance at Dagmar, worried... but then he relaxes as she speaks. She's mad, sure. But not at him, it seems. "I'll polish their chrome." He nods, and heads that way.

"I'll gather the others for a tour" Fawn nods

"Thank you, Connor. Fawn."

He salutes on his way out, and then looks for Kerri as he heads roughly Stable-ward.

The Gryphlet now has one of the big dog's kennels - Edie rarely uses hers, now that she spends most of her time with Gerd at Vali's.

Kerri is on her way at a quick pace down the path directed.

Connor catches up, huffing. "Hearth?"

Dag makes sure the cub is tucked in warm, well-fed, and sleepy.

Kerri turns to look but does not slow down. "Connor, I thought you were helping Dagmar."

He nods, and points towards the Stables. "It's on the way." It isn't, but... he spills out,

"Dagmar isn't mad at Jordan, I think. She's mad at... at someone else. And if Jordan ran off and, and... and stayed mad, stayed mad forever and ever, no matter who tried to help, and then had to have time-out in the dreaming and never came back yet? I think Dagmar would feel bad. Please don't let him."

Kerri looks down at him as she moves on, her jaw set. She seems to weigh her words before saying, "I'll do my best, Connor. Head on back."

A solemn nod, and he trots off towards the stables.

On tour... Dagmar shows them the best ways, and Daria of all folks seems to unwind, it feels good to her to move, to go into the wild "I like this" She admits

"Me too. Never saw much woods before here." Stormwake was coaxed to allow Connor to ride.

Stormwake normally only takes WARRIORS... but, wel, for Dagmar.. fine

Buck admits "I thought Jersey would be a lot more urban"

Daria tells Dagmar "I don't remember who I was before but I don't think I'd like a big city"

"Well, cities are hard and small. So, yeah. Not remembering before can be dangerous, though..."

"We don't like closed in places" Tiara looks about, an attractive young woman "it's in our blood"

"Lane doesn't either, yeah."

"great" Linwood says nervously "We don't come with an instruction manual. I actually feel sorry for the lodge now. Piper was so nice, but I didn't know what to tell her about my.. my kith" he remembers the word "Are we a terrible hassle, Dame Dagmar?"

"No."

"You're new, but rescue is what we do."

"They rescued me."

"Did Symon help rescue you?" Buck says "That little guy is all right" a grin a a memory "I was ready to kick him in the face before he explained to me he was therre to help"

"Symon... well, he did, too, in his way. He was a friend."

Fawn smiles, "Sounds like you've got a tight knit group here. I know Hearth Kerri says i's silly to worry but i do hope we're not making it too crowded?"

She shrugs. "I don't think ALL of you are going to stay. Some of you have families, yeah?"

"I do, " Tiara nods "But they're in Europe. I can't say I feel ... close to them sometimes, even before this? But I do kknow that I want to find a way so they don't worry but I can have space. I have.. I old memories I want to explore. See who I was so I can learn who I might become"

"Some might want some wide open spaces, or - yeah, a fancy court. Chief's a Baroness, but we're not so fancy as a sidhe court here."

"Those are the elves ,right?" Fawn inquires "The gorgeous ones?"

"Yeah."

"Kings and queens and lords and ladies."

"Knights and barons..." Tiara adds "And Counts and Dukes. With great halls you can ride through, or small cozy manors... "

"Yeah."

"Sounds boring" Daria shrugs and canters in loops "The forest and plains seem better. No worrying about holdinng a fork right"

"And they're beautiful. Hard to look at."
