"I'll need the weight and time later for the records" Zane says "THe Mountain is gonna probably put these notes in the archives"

He's talking to Dagmar.. not seeing the Mountain yet

"Um. I don't know if Clem has a scale..."

"We could use Kerri's kitchen one..."

Frank steps into the kitchen, and then peeks into the main room.

Yup Zane scratching "Well, I mean.. ask Clem maybe she knows? "

Gerd says "Give her a break, Zane. She's probably still shaken by the whole whoop I'm a sister thing"

"Um."

"Um. I'll ask."

When she goes up, she hears Torin making a laugh as he gently holds his new grandson. Tove and Jaymes exhangling looks like He does know he can't keep the baby, right?

"The baby is born?" Frank rumbles, clarifying.

Dagmar is back to lurking.

Clem sees her, "Dagmar, they want ot know the weight and time I guess?"

Gerd asnwers first 'Mountain, yes! Clint James King!"

"Yeah, Zane asked..."

His beard moves, and he looks up the stairs towards the laying-in chamber.

"About a small sized MoonMelon" Clem says

Then the farm girl grins "Eight pounds, 2 ounces"

"No way is he that small" Tove protests , "I felt like i was passing a basketball, and I don't mean on court"

"I was thinking that sounded a bit heavy" Jaymes says surprised

Clem rolls her eyes at the parents, looks at Dagmar "8 pounds, 2 ounces, which is a wee bit above average but not for troll blooded types per se. The time he was born was 12:13 PM."

Dagmar relates that downstairs!

And someone slaps Frank on the back , it's Olgar "YOu're an Uncle twice over ..congrats" And a beer is offered. Cold one

Zane writes that information down "Eight POunds, two ounces... 12:13"

Frank takes the beer. "Good work, Zane."

He stands "Oh, Mountain I.. uh.. thank you, Sir. Just figured it was the info you'd want." Then he calls up "Thanks, Dagmar"

"Keep your seat, Zane. You're doing fine. 8 pounds, 2, at 12:13. I'll let the Chief know." And he withdraws.

Dag is back to watching from the outskirts.

Zane swallows, nods "Yes sir" And plops down into the seat and..keeps notes.

"Someone's let that 'Pillar of the Mountain thing" get to his head" Gerd smirks

Zane rolls his eyes "yeah yeah yeah"

Tove is singing to the baby.

Torin joins in.

Jaymes.. doesn't. He moves to join his daughter, Looks her over "mmmm?" ("You okay?")

She nods.

A whew ("I'm surprised I wasn't shaking in there. Thank you for lending your courage")

He seems..utterly serious as he grunts that

Blush.

Softly "I mean it. You might have been nervous, probably were? but you stood strong. Made me feel like I could do the same. "

"Oh, you woulda been there for Tove whatever happened."

"Well , yes, but she didn't need me trembling WHILE I was there"

"...I was shaking on the inside." She confesses.

"Chief gave me something to carve...."

"Good idea" He nods "What did you make? I think I'd just make the sharpest stake ever"

"Um..." She looks.

If she checks...

Brow-furrow. "I don't know." She turns it over - spirals and circles, mostly.

He looks it over, "Mmm look... .. if you look at this wway, this big circular area might be me ...and overlapping with Tove..and there's you.. and there's the baby..and here's your grand father.. but they're ALL connected"

"I thinkit might just be nervous energy."

"Maybe," He admits "But still.. can we keep this?"
