Sylvi's hands run across something smoother than silk

She loses herself in the moment of sensation, but then draws back respectfully. "Thank you."

But the uncorn turns from this stroking "Let me be clear. When I said maidens. I spoke OF both you, sunsshine in winter, and the serpent who longs. That which is taken is not given, and any sin on you is the doing of the monster that attacked you..and thus, not your sin at all"

Eden blinks then looks at Dagmar with..profound surprise and sympathy

A pained look on Dagmar's behalf, followed by an expression of encouragement. "That...sounds right to me."

She purples a bit.

"Touch my mane, both of you" The Unicorn directs, "It really is a nice mane"

But, after hesitating.. shyly extends her hand, as she would for Star or Stormwake to inspect.

The unicorn leans into it from the side, not bothering to sniff or snurfle, just pressing the side of her slim muzzle against the hand.

And she pets the unicorn - still cautious at first, before gaining confidence when she doesn't pull away.

Sylvi steps back a little bit.

To touch the mane , as Sylvi has already learned, its to feel like joy is bubbling up from your toes and dancing along the inside of your skin. It's to know what happinness feels like texture wise.

A surprised smile breaks out.

Eden swallows. Still unsure

"It's okay, Eden. Go ahead," Sylvi urges her.

Eden, encouraged by Sylvi, reaches forward and touches the other side. and ..actually does laugh, not in a 'this is silly' laugh, no, this is one of pure wonder

"...thank you."

The Unicorn says "We are here to repay our debt to Rivervale now that it has been called on. But I would be remiss to let three wonderful young women such as yourself see yourself as less than you are. Each of you may have to deal with a some what bothersome mortality, but you are also each dreams, and ..even that mortal side has value... The sea is most beautiful lapping against a sandy shore or cliff rocks. The wind is happiest racing through even dry leaves. It is the hard loss that makes the good shine all the more."

Sylvi smiles. The unicorn's words make her feel...oddly proud of her changeling nature.

Sylvi mgiht also realize that talk of debt repaid....who called on it?

Eden sighs happily then blushes" I still hope to ah ..tame a dragon one day. Is that bad?"

"Do... do you like sugar?"

"Or is that not... I.. I mean, I have cubes..."

"Um...can I ask...what debt? Or debt to who?"

A soft laugh from the unicorn, "It is met that there are many maidens who treasure my touch and yet still hope for love and that is no sin to me. Nor am I aoffended by the offer of sugar cubes, but do not share the same horse love of it, thank you for offering. Unicorns tend to feast on moonlight and wind. We're very... alternative energy?"

She bobs her head, happiness making her eyes shine even if she's quiet.

Sylvi laughs a bit at the alternative energy comment.

"And your father did not tell you?" The Unicorn seems surprised, "Ah, so not even the Chieftain knows. Mmmph. Unseelie. If they dont' get to be clever every few weeks they get the shakes I suspect."

"I...no?" Sylvi's not sure if she should be defending her unseelie father's semi-honor.

Eden smirks at htat

And the unicorn reluctantly pulls loose with one last nuzzle for each girl, Dagmar, Eden, and Sylvi "I must go. The plague Chimera will be driven off as best we can, but I see we may not be alone in this. Be well, ladies of the seasons"

"Thank you, Unicorn." Another smile.

A smile. "Thank you again. And I'll talk to my dad."

"You'll see more than one of us, Unicorns that is, a rare treat, but true. So if you need something to call me different from the others" The Unicorn inclines her head "-Then you may call me Heart-Horn"

"Thank you, Heart-Horn."

"Heart-Horn," Sylvi repeats and nods, smiling.

"Lub Dub Lumpy head" the pooka nods

A sigh from the Unicorn, but Pooka must pook and she turns to ride off like a moon beam on the winds

Siiiigh.

"That....was SO much better than homework." Sylvi sits down on the bank of the lake.

And indeed, there is no stink of sickness, no sign of raoch hands.. it's.. good grief, the lake looks the purest they've ever seen it

"Seriously."

Eden says "And SOOO . how was your day?" the girls might notice they're not even cold.

"Pretty good, now."

Brow-furrow and a look at Eden.

Eden is smiling now. She seems happier than she's been in.. actually, she's never looked this happy

A grin at Eden and Dagmar. a shared happiness.

Expression softens.

"Yeah, I vote we just... chill, y'know? For a bit."

"Seconded."
