Dagmar lands clumsily, with a big splash!

And New Jersey lake water in mid-March is NOT a comfortable experience.

She sputters and surfaces - good thing it is shallow at the edge!

The water, glowing with purity seems to vaporize the beetles that were on Dagmar's legs

and any other touching..

Still, the cantrip seems to be clearing the effects.

otohers gather... but do not approach.

And cold as the girls are, they feel healther.

Chattering, Sylvi says, "Okay...now how do we kill the rest of them?"

"Maybe I could... freeze them?"

She shivers. "Cold enough..." She gathers up a double handful of water.

Eden says "They're are so few..." As more are gathering, as if drawn to the girls they cannot have... a dark RING of the things covers this half of the shore.

"Wow...." Sylvi gets wide-eyed at the sight of so many of the things.

"Yeah, freeze them, Dagmar...."

She concentrates, building up her own glamour... normally, she can't affect chimera...

"Maybe the cantrip in the water will help."

"My power flurries through the air into the ground...
My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around...
And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast.... I'm gonna cast a spell, these bugs ain't gonna LAST!"

And she lets it go - the water turning to a spray of snowflakes, a blizzard gale shocking the bugs.

The spring touched water, now mixed with Winter's power hurls out! the Blizzard cracks the carapaces under the weight of ice!

And two thirds of the creatueres are gone

Eden looks at Dagmar "Who have they been feeding you while I've been gone?"

"Yes!"

"I think Sylvi's water magic helped, too..."

"Anybody got Legerdemain?"

"Present" Eden says as if attendence has been called

"Yank 'em in the water, it should kill them off."

Eden gestures And delcares "“I am not Toph, I am Melon Lord! Mwahahah!”"

And the roach hand things let loose a cry as if the only now realize their doom is not just waiting for them.. but rather drawing them int into the ice packed waters of the lake.... where spring is in every crystal or drop!

The squeeling hiss burns away and evaporates them all

"Well damn..."

Sylvi blinks. "Wow. Yes, ma'am, Lady Melon Lord!" Shy giggles, but then gives a deep shiver. "Let's get out of this." She starts to clamber for shore.

Eden's turning blue "Yeah, I'm a troll" She gets out.

And then... a light "I see I was not needed" The water roils behind them

Sylvi turns, spear ready, arms shaking.

Dagmar STARES.

"Peace, Springbringer" The Unicorn says in a voice that sounds like someone used just the right amount of autotune on an angel's audiowork

She chews on her thumb, nerves battling with awe.

Sylvi's jaw drops. "I...oh..."

Eden swallows as if terrified

"Shhhh...what is this? I came to banish illness... and yet I see other threats." The unicorn barely ripples the water as she approaches them, "Sunshine in Winter Trials, why do you feel stress at my approach? Shhhh... I do not judge you nearly as harshly as you judge yourself. " Then she turns to See Eden "And you think you're self dark for the form you take? What has happened in the world that young maidens should so feel unworthy of a unicorn's gaze?"

"Um..." Sylvi glances at the others, then blushes despite the cold.

"I.. ah.."

"What they said" The snake pooka adds

"Fear not, Springbringer, though you may not ride me, if you wish, you may touch my mane. Gently if you please. I see a bit of your mother's guile and your father's cunning in you, " She says to Sylvi, "But I also see her great heart and his fierceness" A pause "or is it the other way around?"

"Sorry, ma'am....but 'maiden'...isn't really accurate...." She's clearly speaking only for herself there. And then a grin at the description of her parents. "I...thanks..." And she carefully reaches out to touch. "If you're sure...?"

"I know. I was speaking of your friends" She says "And yes, I am sure."

The half korean pooka blushes

Mumbles. "Not a maiden, I know."

Sylvi lets her fingers stroke the unicorn's mane. "Wow...."
