Tiffany says "Just that I don't think you've hit the grass ceiling yet, and seedling here has some growth spurts yet. It's okay to not be a mighty oak yesterday"

"I...I think you're saying that it's okay for me to try to teach it to her?"

Tiffany says "More like don't exile yourself for this incredible failure"

Another blink, then a baffled look to Margalita.

"Oh.." Margalita says "she's just saying eventually you probably will and even though I might not learn furking now, eventually I can and maybe then hyou'll be my teacher" Then a look to Tiff

Tiff wags

"yeah, that" the nocker says

"Oh! Oh, okay, yeah. I mean, if you still want to then, we could see. I just...I wouldn't want to try to teach too soon, and maybe screw it up for you, y'know?"

Margalita sighs 'Troll brain again? Cautious?"

"Well...yeah. I guess so."

"I mean.. would you want a kid to learn, I dunno, electronics or something from somebody who was only just beginning to learn how to wire a lamp?"

"Sure..." She says "They BOTH might learn..zap" Margalita says

Tiff laughs, "Relax sweeting.." Then she looks at the clock, "Ok... you need to study, buddy." For a moment, Sylvi mgiht think she means her, but nope.

"that's farking lame... I'm never gonna use that english history..stuff..it's STEM for me..." The nocker protests.

"Yeah, but the history stuff matters. If somebody hires you to make some new chemical, you want to be able to recognize the signs if they're planning on blowing up your family with it."

"I mean...you know...." Uncomfortable suddenly. "Sorry, that came out rougher than I meant."

"No one asked you ..." The Nocker scowls.

"Yeah. Sorry."

"Margalita Ambrosia Gardner," Tiffany says crisply. "Go, study. Yesternow. And before you go, wrap up that apology."

It's a mom tone, no denying.

Margalita winces "Apology accepted" A mumble, and she stomps off to go study like she was told

Sylvi nods. "Bye."

And when the nocker is gone, she groans and covers her face with her hands. "That was a stupid thing to say. I don't even know why I said it that way."

Tiffany looks unrelenting while the nocker girl has any chance of looking back at her, but once it's safe , she lets herself sag then looks at Sylvi "Yeaaaah... paw in mouth there, but.. she still can be a bit trollheaded herself you know? She's.. she's a great kid" A bit of pride "But " A sigh "She doesn't see two steps ahead in this chess game. And if you can't do that, you end up a pawn to your limitations with fewer expecations. ya know? "

"Well, yeah...been there. I hated a lot of school subjects when I was her age. Still...I'm really sorry." This apology is for Tiffany, not Margalita. "I don't mean to make things more difficult."

"Apawolgy accepted, little Chieferino," Tiffany says and points to herself "it willsurprise you, but sometimes my mouth speaks Bitch at the worst time. And as for difficult, well, we both know every teen queen comes with a crown. The hormones kick in, and it's off with everyone else's heads. Now, tell me, how's your damsel doing? "

"Chieferino?" A bemused chuckle, then a smile at the question. "He's good. It's tricky right now...he's got his people to take care of, and yeah, we're all doing better than more mortals are...well, at least, except when it comes to nightmare chimera...but it's still difficult to keep distance, you know? I'm going to call him in a little bit."

"Use a sultry growl, they love that" A smile "You know, I met him a lot but he seems like an adequete damsel"

"That is...if my phone survives." She pouts at the poor thing.

She blushes and smiles. "He's a perfectly adequate damsel, yes."

A wag then "Okay okay, by now we should have phone a roini" And she takes it and hands it over "Go lead him on with lurid brow or whatever troll girls do"

The phone does seem totally restored

Sylvi laughs and gratefully accepts her phone back. "I'd hug you if that weren't forbidden these days. Thanks, Tiffany." She offers an elbow-bump.

And it is returned "Wonder Twin powers activated... age gap, confirmed" and she waves her off

And off she goes to test her phone's ability to provide reliable flirtation opportunities.

It will get quite the work out
