(Kitchen) Gerd nods and then steps out of the kitchen

"No tools without my instructions. But for now...tidy up in here.

“Nail gun, and the drill!” He giggles as he starts on the tidying, and instructed Jack where things go

Jack is suprirsed to learn of this 'tidyup' bit that folks keep pushing as normal. First the Hearth, now the Chieftain.

"Mm. I will leave you to it. And Jack...welcome."

"Thank you, Chief Shacklebrekker" He bows and gets dizzy , so not that low again

Dishes away, Dagmar lingers alone in the kitchen.

Brekke pauses at the misnomer...but then leaves the room and heads back downstairs.

She might see Gerd , "Dagmar's in the kitchen still if you need her"

A puzzled look at that. "Does she need me?"

A shrug from Gerd

"And Chieftain, I am sorry for the many issues...were you here to see me for a reason?" she asks Clem.

"Actually, I came to see the Hearth, and help her with something that I suspect now had to do with Connor, but that's resolved so... no trouble. "

"Ah." A nod. "Well...please make yourself comfortable."

A curious look to the kitchen. "Excuse me a moment." And she goes to look for Dagmar.

A nod from Clem

Dag's not working - she's just sitting at the table.

"Dame Dagmar." She pauses. "Were you looking to speak with me?"

A faint startle. "Oh!"

"Oh, no, I wasn't looking to talk. Sorry." She pushes her chair back.

"Ah. Gerd made me think...." A pause. "Is all well?"

"I was just gonna head home."

"Mm. Could you tell your father what we learned of Connor's situation? I believe he is also concerned, and would be relieved."

She nods. "Yeah, I'll tell him. I'm glad Connor is okay."

"We find the guys that hurt the satyr, I can help beat them up, right?"

She considers the question seriously. "Perhaps. It depends on a number of factors. But...I hope I will be able to say yes."

She looks grim.

"Yeah, well. They suck. And ain't fair, them getting away with it."

"No. It is not fair. If Da'an brings us to serve as instruments of their punishment, that would be very satisfactory. But first...let us see about getting him established in Rivervale."

"Yeah, okay." Brow furrow.

A pause. "Dagmar...we will seek more information about them. I promise you this."

"I know. Just... " A gesture. "This place, yeah?"

A puzzled frown as she follows the gesture.

"What about this place?"

"For kids like him."

"Dunno. Sorry."

"Maybe he's young enough, you know? Connor's been through a lot of shit, too."

"Dagmar...I do not understand what you are trying to say. I mean...yes, both have suffered. That is true for many fae...many suffer because the mortal world does not understand them."

"I dunno. Guess I'm not saying anything."

"I hope he gets better, is all."

"We will do our best to help him." She pauses. "You have struggled, as well, Dagmar."

She shrugs.

"Ain't breaking things anymore. Or stealing food."

"No, you are not. You are a fine member of the barony." She tilts her head. "I have taken that to mean that you are feeling better in your heart as well. Am I correct in this...or mistaken?"

She shrugs. "Glad I'm contributing."

"Yes." A pause, considering. "I had thought you were...happy."

"Why shouldn't I be?"
