"It absolutely does." She nods.

HE puffs up "Yeah.. sure, uh 'house it' here." A thought 'Uhm but Anne Marie might want to come over and use it, that ok?"

"Of course. Dirk, it's yours. You get to decide who uses it. We'll just be the caretakers, but it's yours. You'll allow us to use it?"

"Yeah sure.. if I cooked stuff no else would want to eat it" He says

"Oh, I don't know about that. I hear there's some fine redcap cooks. If you ever want lessons, you let me know. At the very least, you could barbecue."

"Yeah, that's manly" He says "Though Annie Marie says there are 6'5 HUMAN Pastry chefs who can throw normal people out a door so.. " he rolls his eyes "you know, don't typecast of whatever"

A nod. "Pastry making takes strong arms and a lot of endurance." She considers the cauldron. "Dirk, exactly whom do you want to have the right to use this? The ability to tattle-tale on anybody who ate from it is a dangerous advantage."

"Huh, tattle what? It spies on folks? " Somehow he missed that

"It can. While they're still digesting, you can activate it to find out what they're doing."

"Hey, I might be like, immune, redcaps digest FAST"

"Okay.. uhm.. you can use it, and Anne Marie can use it I guess since that's Symon's problem"

"Symon's problem?"

"Well, if he gets tattle tailed on it's like...regular digestion time"

"Least, I think so"

"Ah, I see what you mean. Well, if you like, I could try tattling you? You go outside, and we'll see if I can figure out where you went?"

"Sure..." He says and heads out

Just like that

She fishes the remaining pies (if any) out of the cauldron, and then casts the tattletale incantation.

She spies on him... and sees him walking outside towards the woods...but.. he flickers...

either the cauldron always does a flicklery bad picture... or it's the fact he's digesting fast

She pats the side of the cauldron as one might have once adjusted an old TV.

He flickers, in, out.. oh, he's approaching McGillcudy's mailbox...

then..she loses the picture

twentyy seconds pas and he's back... there's a busted mailbox

he farts

and vanishes

"Oh...well...that's more information than I needed." She sighs and makes mental note to get a replacement mailbox.

Meanwhile, in the main lodge, colton has gone up to take his turn for cleaning

and Siv is giving Sylvi a proper hug "Now that you're all clean."

But Siv herself looks a bit warn and sea sweapt so..hey, shes' probably sweated herself

Sylvi is in her favorite pajamas and cozy slippers, hair all freshly washed. She feels far more huggable. "Thanks. Hey, you look like you went through some stuff, too."

"Wonderful crazy ride that" Siv says

"Everybody okay, though?"

"Dad's still 'grr. 'garr' urr " Sigh "But yeah. There are SKY trods, Sylvi. Makes me wish the Narwhal could fly like the Kestrel"

Dagmar tromps downstairs, in borrowed (non-stinky!) sweats, post shower.

"Oh, wow...yeah, I'll bet. But Siv, maybe if there are sky trods, maybe there are new water trods, too?"

"Hey, Dags. Feel better?"

"Better not to stink, yeah."

"I Have to go to the ship adn start sailing... as soon as mom gets home!"

Siv turns and hugs Dagmar, "Hey you!"

"I felt so bad leaving you guys."

"Hey, it's what you needed to do. And it looks like things went okay, right? I mean, all signs seem to suggest it, anyway."

She starts a little at the surprise hug.

"You have to go? Now?"

"No, mom's not back yet" Siv paces

Siv looks tired. but jazzed... in that' proibably should sleep; but not gonna without medication' way

A glance towards the door, as if the Chieftain will walk in at any moment....

...but she doesn't.

Gerd comes out wearing shorts and a t shirt, "Is Uncle Vali around or at his house?"

"I believe he's at the house, Gerd," Kerri says. "And if you want to go over there, I recommend wearing something warmer."
