"That can't be coincidence, you know what this means? " She can HEAR her husband's grin

"Is it...you mean, you think they won?" That dangerous optimism is clamoring to be let out.

"Baby ,dragon stored up juice from lots of lodges, IF it died, then old trods might reignite, but some wouldn't be able to even then... so new trods form. The lord and the land are one... now , I know you know how amazing you look on a Mexico beach, but I'm thinking there's only one person tied to that hold that really wants , even subconciously, a way to check in on her daughter anytime she wants... add frank's will to that, and what's that tell you?"

A brief silence...

...and then Olgar will be glad that Kerri held the phone away from her before she let out a happy WHOOP!

Siv grins at the table with the other two, still waiting for Jessica's answer, but the WHOOP makes her smile

Then she's back. "Honey, find out where Sylvi is, if she's okay. If the job's done, then they should be able to get home now."

Jessica, about to answer, turns and bursts into the kitchen. "What!??!!?"

"Will do" Olgar promises, "Love you"

And nobody is in the kitchen, because Kerri is on her phone in the backyard. She's visible through the window, smiling.

"I love you so much, Olgar. Go away, do things, then come home and celebrate!"

Jessica takes this as a good sign, wants to positively confirm it... but goes back into the main room.

"Things are good. There's a new trod, now."

And Olgar hangs up to 'do things'

"Yeah?" Siv says "Where? "

"Here."

"Seriously?" She looks around and starts to rise, "Hey, where? To your place?"

"Yep."

Kerri comes back in and brings food for Siv from the kitchen. Her expression is far less tense than before.

"Olgar says things look like there was a good outcome, though he doesn't have the specifics yet."

Jessica relaxes visibly.

"Here, Siv, eat something." She sets the plate down in front of Siv, snacks of the cracker and cheese and sausage variety.

"Thank you," Siv says, retaking her seat which she got up from when her sister was distracted

"We've got a trod back and forth. This is nice, We can visit you ALL the time" Siv grins

"All are welcome." Jessica invites.

There's a flood of noise from the hallway "No, Sylvi, I wasn't spying on you, I was looking for you, big difference" Olgar's voice

Kerri looks about to say something, but then there's the noise in the hallway. She stands and goes to the new trod entrance.

"You're sure you weren't, y'know, lurking, Dad?"

"Wait..." And there she is, looking at her mother. Sylvi turns and looks behind her, then at the walls. "How did we get....? Gerd, did you blip us all the way INTO the Lodge?"

Kerri meanwhile swoops in to claim a hug from her daughter. It's a good squeeze of a hug.

"How am I supposed to 'lurk' at a new trod I only just found out about..." Olgar says

Gerd says 'I told you that that part of the Dreaming was odd. But do folks listen.. nooo"

Zane grins "Hey, Hearth Kerri. Oh geez. My mom is probably flipping out"

"Oof!" Sylvi gets squoze, and hugs Kerri back. "Hi, Mom. We're home."

Kerri steps back and takes a deep breath. "Okay...who needs healing, who needs food, and you all need to call your families to let them know you're back." The last part of course directed to the non-Davidsons."

Siv moves forward to hug then backs up "Whoaa.. what is that smell?"

"Siv, they've been adventuring..." Kerri reminds. "It can be messy business. But yes...you should all take turns cleaning up, showering. I can manage your clothes, and we have loaner robes if you wish."

Sylvi wrinkles her nose. "It was like a scent camouflage, and it was gross."

"Sorry aunt kerri but... that's like bilge water left alone too long" Siv says

Dirk snifs then shrugs and texts Anne Marie

Olgar grunts and keeps going back for things

There's a rolling of a huge ass cauldron

Olgar peeks out, "Was this a quest or a flea market bazaaar raid?"

Sylvi excuses herself (with her mirror) and makes a bee-line for the shower, for the benefit of all.

Olgar grumbles.

Colton explains, "It's complicated sir, but each item was fairly won. I..don't remember it all, but I remember that"

The wounds on them are minor ,and Kerri sound heals up those who were injured. Gerd uses another shower
