Sylvi looks at her screen.

She bites her lip and frowns. You're kidding.

Sylvi sighs and mutters, "He doesn't get it...." Then texts: Totally. TTYL

"Guys" Lucia sighs

She slips her phone away. "Well...Colton can't."

"Well, who wants to go to a dance, anyways?"

"Well, NOW I want to." Sylvi gives a frustrated huff.

"Dagmar, if you don't want to go. Don't." Lucia says "But you might have fun"

Nadeen looks at Sylvi "you're a contrary girl at times. "

"Depth and complexity. That's me." Distractedly, she looks up and down the hallway, realizing she really does have to consider alternatives now.

Suddenly every guy is on the menu sort of? Oh, there's Jimmy

Mayyybeeee....but now she's kind of regretting her earlier thoughts about Zane.

And, of course, there are mortals. Dylan is cute, dark skin, blue eyes

"Symon won't like why I want to go."

An annoyed sigh. "Now I have to choose somebody before they're all taken."

And there goes Maggie to talk to Dylan! Right in front of her!

"Symon's not a monster" Lucia says "be honest with him, and he'll probably understand"

Eyes wide....

Yup. Maggi's like "So.. Dylan..." andd theree's more, but she's not hearing all of it

"He's not. He's my best friend."

Deep breath, and she plants her cheerleading smile on and dives after them. "Hey, Dylan. Hey, Maggie. Dylan, gotta second?"

Maggie shoots Sylvi a LOOK.

"Sure, but get right to you, Sylvi" Dylan says "Maggie, you were saying what bout that that day?"

Nadeen observes "Amazing. I think Sylvi is about to come in one second late."

"yeeeaahhh..." A frown.

"I was asking you out to the dance. I think it'll be fun." Maggie says

Dammit...but he still has to accept the invite... "Oh, sure!" Another winning smile, and she waits.

RUSHED, but Maggie gets it out

And her smile freezes in place.

But she tosses her hair a bit and gives him a promising look.

Dylan blinks and looks at Maggie, and 'kind' o past her, noticing the promise in Sylvi's eyes. then says "Oh shit. I wish You'd asked earlier..another girl , you know?" //"Wow.. Uhm.." Maggie turns pink with embarrassment. "I uhm.. yeah. I guess, I thought i was ..quicker than... sorry I should.. I should go."

Sylvi should feel guilty...but some part of her really enjoyed that.

"Cool. Hey hope you find somone for the.." Dylan starts to say "Dance" And Maggie has made exuses and retreated

Dylan looks over at her, "sure hope I read that right?"

Nadeen raises a brow "at times, I almost wonder if Sylvi isn't Sidhe souled" Low voice

"Damn...." She shakes her head.

Lucia frowns a bit

Sylvi's expression relaxes a bit. "Yeah. You did. And I'm glad. Okay, so...I want to ask you to the dance. But...I want to be on the level with you, too."

"Oh?" Dylan says

"Well...I want to go to the dance, but I'm dating somebody, and he can't make it. And...well...if we go, I think we'll have fun, but...it's not going to be a makeout session." An apologetic look. "So...with that in mind...still want to go?"

"Do I get a chance to try to change your mind?" He asks

She blinks. "Ummm...I can't promise that...."

Nadeen whispers to Dagmar "She might lose this yet. Interesting."

Lucia glares "Do you mind? She's not putting a show on for us."

"Oh I beg to differ" the Varich says, making popcorn motion.

"Oh, I hope she doesn't..."

"But I mean, one of us might be more understanding...."

Dylan ponders then "I'm not crazy about being 'fall back guy' without a chance, but... on the other hand. you ARE cool."
