Dag drops the ladder and climbs down with Symon draped over her shoulder like a sack of potatoes. "Think so. Thanks for helping with the dog."

He takes the vial, unless stopped, then says "Ya mon, you might want to leave New Olreans soon. They gonna be riled"

And Symon stirs

"Ung."

"Mmrrgh."

"HISS"

"Lovey?" He whispers. Not to Dagmar, of course. "Good.... kittums."

"Sorry Lovecraft."

"And yeah, we're going."

"Not talking!" Love craft says

The Vampire grins.. gah it's like watching a half decomposed corpse lose face muscles in time lapse

Symon keeps up a steady mumblewhisper. She is the prettiest, smartest, sleekest, wisest. The blackest, spookiest and fiercest and most beauteous. No other beast compares... so embarrassing for anyone to overhear.

And then the vampire fades from view.

He blinks. "Did he just..."

Lovecraft eyes Dagmar "Bring Stupidboy"

Dag tromps back to the trod, carrying Symon."Yeah, magic."

"Cleverest, ink-pawed, shadow-sneaking, greater than even the Yule cat, beloved of Grilla, that's Lovecraft...

Lovcraft clambers up on Dagmar's shoulder "Don't want to walk. You walk" But.. for a moment, her angry feline glance looks down on Symon. As if he need watching. If looked at she mutters "No chicken. May have to eat him. Let's go"

Grunt. Dagmar will carry them all.

At least she knows where atrod is, or does she head to that hold they were told of?

About four blocks

"I think I can walk." He whispers.... unsure about that.

"I think there was something.... fucky. In that dross."

Four blocks? Yes, hold!

"Maybe it was Balor. Like, ravaged." She does not put Symon down.

"Nng." muttered agreement. He twists - not trying to get down, but making sure he can glimpse Lovecraft. "That was... wicked cool."

"Lovecraft is awesome." She concurs, keeping an eye out for the sanctuary.

It is hard to tell in the dark - but she's more grey than blue right now, after pouring so much glamour in to freeze the vamp.

"Did I know you could do that ice thing? That was.. really cool." Then he groans at what he said. "Dont' tell Vali."

"It... well, it was bigger than it usually is."

"I don't do mortals that well, but Frank said it helps to, like, pour glamour in..."

ANd soon, they come up the smell of breads? or other foods

and the sound of Jazz.

The Chimera at the stairs plays from a sax....

"So I think it hit bigger, too? Dunno..."

Dagmar sees the Chimera as big grinning black man of greater girth, jolly

Symon sees a blind white man in dark trench coat

"Is... is this it?" Hopeful.

"This is it," The Chimera says "But you don't play so you gotta pay. " he shakes a hat

"I... my friend's hurt... we need haven."

Dagmar's mien is even shakier under the light.

"No, you... my friend needs some bale time. Please."

Lovecraft begins to make odd sounds

Ahurr. a hurr.. ahurr

"We can pay..." He gropes for a pocket. "Oh, not on Dagmar..."

and HOCKS up a hair ball into the hat

He winces. Surely they will be denied now.

The Chimerical musician looks at the hat "Quarter would have done it, or a bit of dross. Go on in"
