She looks at the old woman, and her mouth quirks into an uncertain smile.

Kenning reveals NOTHING to Sym.. oh wait, there.. some dross. It's... a finger bone?

He examines it - a real bone, a clever fake?

The Old woman looks at DAGMAR "you special, aren't you girl? "

He slides the bone into a pocket - if nothing else, he doesn't want them to have it... can always ditch it later if needed... and seeks anything hidden. Drawers, alcoves... a book outof place... sensitive fingers searching for anythign else the Study will reveal.

And bursting out of the room Symon was going into is a figure shifting, his features blurring. Symon has seen Garou before... this one is..way uglier than Lupe, and as Symon hangs there, this figure lopes under him going down to give chase or try to.

DAGMAR hears Namba intone "You soul song be quiet, your will be still"

She's not listening, her goal is to RUN.

SYMON finds the map! it's in a case. Ready for transport.

He takes a moment longer - he did say he would. Where is the phylactery? He searches the Altar, not caring if he's being irreverent, fuck the bloodsucker beliefs or traditions. If nothing is evident ON it, he opens it, tips, upends it.

The map is quickly snatched and hidden away in a pocket.

And the phlyactry clutters ..making noise
