She grins and tells them the PERFECT Place.

He accepts! And accepts! The menus sometimes have this thing with fermented tripe....

That was, without a doubt,fantastic Yukgaejang. Served by a Boggan who claims, if asked, to be "A Dokkaebi of home and fire"

The trolless had two bowls.

Symon actually almost finished one himself! He DID get the fermented stuff, something fishy... and really enjoyed it.

"Cheers to halfway, yeah?"

"Cheers." He agrees.

"Do you think those guys will come back after us?" Conversationally, not concern. "It would be funny if they tracked us back home. Where we have all the backup." A small snort, envisioning the whomping they would get from the whole crew. "We'd need to draw lots to see who got a punch in."

Snerk.

"They might. So maybe I practice more thunder to prep."

"Yeah, you're getting good at it. We should set up targets and see if you can zap 'em."

Around them, outside , they see more friendly Chimera.. some truly beautiful. There's a cloud dropping chimerical blossoms

"This place is cool. Should we call Vali from here?"

"I wish I could take a picture." He remarks, then colors a bit. "Some of that stuff is kinda, you know, pretty. Like Ann Marie might like. Maybe I'll see if she wants to visit some time."

"OH!"

And out comes her nocker-camera. It's a bulky, old-fashioned looking thing. "You should! She would! It's got ten left before it needs a break."

"I forgot you had that thing. You mean it works on other stuff then horses?"

She laughs. "Hey!"

A slight tease there, even as he gives her a grateful grin. And lines up a picture of the cloud, dropping flowers just so, as a minute dragon slithers through the air nearby....

And he frames Dagmar in for the next shot. "One for your folks?"

"Oh. Um. I guess." She purples, but smiles!

Click again! And the camera is offered back. "That thing is cool." Appropvingly.

"Yeah, it is. Hey, D'lorean is gonna join the Cavaliers, too. She might come visit the lodge."

It takes him a moment to place the name. "The jouster! Cool. You can bash her around instead of the dummy, save us some wear and tear on Quintains."

"Exactly!"

He dials up Vali, leaning in so that he and Dagmar can facetime at the same time.

Vali appears, turning to face the camera. He's wearing a leather jacket and an eyepatch

Brow. "Arrrr?"

"I was going for Commander Fury actually, you guys being my agents and all"

"You're missing out." He turns the phone a bit to slowly panorama and show Vali the scene.

"When racial stereotypes aren't trying to kill us, it's kinda nice here." He whispers into the phone.

"Wow. yeah, lovely. you guys should pay me for this"

Vali Fury, commander of the agents of ... okay. they're probably not going to play along "So you've got two pieces?"

"Yeah!"

She seems in a better mood.

"I'm glad. You want to take a break or go one from there? "

"I mean, we've got momentum on our side..."

"How about you, Symon?"

He nods. “Had a good meal and not dead, so might as well?”

"Well, the next one is a bit of a challenge... you'll be heading towards New Orleans, my old stomping ground"

“Jazz and Mardi gras. And voodoo.” He adds this last, perking a little.

"Funny you should mention voodoo actually" He says

"Yeah?"

"Yeah. Your'e going to be intruding on a ..voodoo club kind of.. unlike the store, they're not just going to hand it over if you ask nicely"
