Dagmar wakens first. The fire is so weak, and yet it tried. She feels a bit more restored still. But after tending to their guests, it's clear the flames of Sweet Sorrows can't help anyone right now.

She's... not great with magic, still. And she doesn't have much to offer the fire, except some of Vali's dross. She's hesitant to spare a lot, but she does feed two pieces to the flames - one for her, one for Symon. What she CAN do, for sure, is how she found her way at the Lodge. In the quiet, she cleans up - washing any dishes, sweeping up, little Hearth things that matter.

The lady of the hold sees her doing this, and nods. It would appear this sort of payment, the services, not the dross, are pretty common here. Though she does says to Dagmar "You've worked in a kitchen and been taught well"

"That's Miss Kerri - do you know much about troll lodges? She's our Hearth. She and my mom taught me. When I chrysalized, I couldn't do anything."

"Well they taught you right good" She says "heard about troll lodges, never been to one." The boggan works deftly "And for a girl who couldn't do anything, you're sure doing a lot now"

She shrugs. "Chrysalis changed everything. So - the Hearth is in charge of, like, everything domestic. Partly Steward, but... more? Kerri's everyone's mom. She's part leader, Hearth and Storm and Mountain work together to lead."

Symon stirs, and seeks a glass of water. Still got that taste in his mouth like something died inside there, and not even something he intended.

"She's the homeguard, makes sure bellies are full and bones unbroken, spirits at ease?" The lady guesses

At the counter, a satyr girl hands says to Symon "Some tea or?"

She nods. "Exactly."

"Sure, please. If you have something strong flavored? And.. old cream?" He hopes.

"Isn't there some weird coffee you make here? I could try that. With Chicory?" A moment, and he adds. "Sorry. Not weird, different. I'm sure it's good?"

"Morning Symon."

He raises up a bit and examines her. A nod, approving. "You're looking less sh- Looking better this morning. Good."

"It's strong, get that taste out.. hold on" The satyr grins And starts t whip up the coffee he wants to try. By the look in her eyes , it WILL clear out a taste

"Well I guess I'm a hearth in minaturee" the Freeholder chuckles

"We all feel miniature around trolls." He adds, with a small smile.

At the bar counter, he brings out the map piece, and starts to set the three together. Seeing how they match up, and trying to glean a bigger picture. "More than halfway, Dags."

HIs coffee is ready

And some AGED cream is thrown on it

Accepting with a whispered thanks and glee at how the cream sinks and curdles in such a lovely pattern. Cash is slide across the table, several bills from Vali's stash. "Please accept this... for the meals and hospitality."

"Hey!" She protests.

Getting a little thin in the pocket.

He snickers as Dagmar catches up. And gives the coffee a sip.

It's..different!

"You take that money back" the boggan says "Your friend already put dross in the fire."

He gives it a swish - not bad.

"I can't. It's Vali's money and he said we could use it however we wanted, but we have to give back whatever's left. So take it."

"Please." He adds, an afterthought.

"Symon, how do you feel about maybe stopping by home before doing the next part? Though Vali said he'd be maybe dropping off supplies at Firnost..."

"Fine. We'll pay it forward" The boggan tells the others. And no on e argues

He is satisfied with this. To Dagmar, "If I go home looking like this, Anne Marie won't let me out of her sight. But the lodge..." He nods. "We can recover there a little. A long rest to restore our spell slots."

She nods. "Right. One look, and boggan-sense will go off."

"Sorry, ma'am. No offense."

A deep chuckle, and she looks to Symon "Your mama a boggan?"

"My mom." He clarifies, and nods with a small smile. "One of the best."

"I think no moms, period. Tove might freak out, too. Trolls can be stubborn."

"Well, you both lucky to have moms who would worry. That's their duty, but I hear you. Here..." She prepares a bag of beignets and says "Take this to your people"

She nods. "I know how lucky I am." Her tone is very earnest.

He slides the three map pieces over to Dagmar. Laying them out, smoothing them carefully with a propriatary touch.

"See any landmarks we can make out yet?"

Sliding them around like puzzle pieces until they seem to fit correctly.

Dag tries to piece edges. "Looks like a shore, maybe, there?"

Lot of ocean

"I am sensing... strong Siv vibes." He remarks. "Think she's still ticked at me?"

"Whatcha got?" the satyress peeks at the maps

"She's not. Fiona are like satyrs."

"Not sure yet." He replies, honest. "Parts of a puzzle, kinda."

"Loyla" The freeholder fusses, "Where are your manners?"

She nods. "A puzzle for a map for a thing we don't know what it is."

"Do you recognize this area?" Looking to Loyla curiously.

Another sip of the coffee. Strong, it straightens his spine a bit!
