Lovecraft is already pushing the door open ahead of them

He gestures after her. "Before he changes his mind.."

Dag nods and trudges in.

and in they go.

The troll looks for a place to set Symon.

"Now who do we have here?" A bundle of boggan, the lady of the place looks over from her counter.

To Symon's shock, she is somehow rubbing Lovecraft's belly, and not dying!

"I think I'm hallucinating."

"You put him right by the fire, honey chile" the woman says

And the crowd splits to make room. "You take a seat yourself, too" One troll grump rises

"Cool, thanks." She delicately places Symon on something soft.

He lunges weakly to one side and snatches at her sleeve. "You. Sit."

That done, she rubs at her face. "Is there a place I could wash up? I don't feel so hot. I'm sorry for barging in..."

"Right of Rescue is right of rescue, grande petite" She says "When all you have is nothing, there's a lot to go around"

She gestures to a spot "Backroom behind that door, bit of a squeeze to get through but once you do you'll be happy to know the shower head is high up"

And suddenly she directs "Renee, get that girl some clean clothes. We got some in store I'm thinking"

"Thanks. I smell awful, I know."

One cap snorts "I didn't want to say nothing but I wouldn't eat you"

She pats Symon's shoulder. "We made it."

"Joney!" The boggan waves a finger at him

"Sorry" The cowed Cap says

"I feel like I threw up. And you smell like it." Shaky. What disgusts a sluagh? Ugh.

"Heh." Faded, but that amuses.

"Okay, shower." Another eye rub, but just being in the hold seems to be helping the fog.

They will be spoiled Dagmar gets her shower...and she's SO glad she did.

And Symon.. Symon finds something pressed in his hand. A gummy worm? With glamour infused

A whisper from a scrawny boy "We ain't got much man, but no one allowed to fade or go sour in Sweet Sorrows"

Music is playing, sweet and sorrowful jazz

Dagmar eventually returns, in clean borrowed clothes. "Hey."

The woman hands Dagmar a Beignet "Speciality of the hold. And I can get you a sanwhich too. Your friend want some aging gumbo?"

He nods and tucks the candy into his cheek to melt. "Thank you."

"Oh, like Tiana's!" She blushes. "Sorry. Um."

He sits up on seeing Dagmar, and relaxes a touch. A tension he hadn't realized, fading. "Better." Nodding at her color.

"Oh I love that movie too, Girl"

"I've never had one." And she takes a big bite.

A bit of glamour flows into her as well

Right of Rescue is still honored

"I'm Dagmar, this is.. well, he sometimes doesn't like sharing his name, sluagh. Troll and Gwydion, so I can be just too subtle and understated for his taste..." Turning bluer and feeling better.

The balefire is so weak as to be a candle. The folks here vary from strong meins to weak themselves

He whispers, "I'm Symon... they deserve that much at least." He nods, thankfully to Dagmar, appreciating. "You guys... know Vali? Gardner, Beaumayn?"

Some chuckles break out

She polishes off the beignet, eyes widening as she looks around.

"Please don't kick us out then."

He cracks a faint smile.

"Oh Chile, that boy been known round here before he was your age now. "

"Just odn't joke like him" The Cap pulls his hat down
