Jessica finds her itinerary for today includes news that the childlings are fine and asleep. And..she has missed a meal as it's been awhile.

"Then I'm going to get dried off and changed. And see the Bale. And get something to eat on patrol. Clem, Earl, Zara.... you guys ok to relax for a while?"

"Patrol? You should rest it is geting late... you have fought.." She fusses

That is, Maria fusses

"Yes, and healed." Jessica says gently. "And now I want to be out in my County."

"Maria, get these heroes anything they want, ok?" Speaking of 2 trolls and a sluagh.

"Tea?"

"Tea? of course, I get it just right for you. We have some old moldy crackers too. " The boggan says

"Tea." Jessica repeats, without the question.

"How kind, aye, my thanks..."

There are not many sluagh currently living here, but it was not so long ago there were two so they have supplies and materials.. and boggans can improvise. Tea, in this case, apparently means 'and a small meal suited to your tastes'. Had she asked for a meal, it would probably be huge.

Jessica drips back to her room to change first, then to the Balefire.

With chimes.

The balefire flies merrily at the chimes as tehy are hung nearby

Then she seats herself on the hearthstones. "You like that?" A soft murmur as she trails her fingers through the flames.

Oh yes... it does, but more importantly, ..images of the various members of the Hold... flow by... with signs of warding circles and shields.

A faint frown, seeking understanding. "Protection?"

And Zara finds herself perhaps embarrassed.. she nibbled at the meal, sipped the tea.. and began to nod off

Oh yes, she's quietly dozing with her chin on her chest.

Earl picks her up... and carries her off while Zara drifts to Dreams..(Ing)

Jessica feels a surge of affirmation.

"Ok, then. Good." She whispers to her 'Fire.

And Jessica ...relaxes...

and falls asleep.. (into the Dreaming)

Finding Jessica asleep by the Balefire, Maria says "so you patroll just a bit later tonight" And puts a thin blanket over her.

Jessica wakes up before the balefire.

There's a note "Someone else took patrol, and that's not a bad thing"

A deep breath, and consciousness. She examines the blanket blearily, and blinks to read the note. A sigh.

She looks at the 'Flames.

The flames blush lightly

Zara might sleep quite soundly... for she was tired and yes, a touch drained.

"I do have questions. For another time." Softly.

Or the power of curiousity might wake her

in Earl's arms

She stirs... arms, ah. Happy noise and snuggling.

And he snuggles back, awake just enough to kiss her cheek and then back to dozing for him

For Jessica, the fire thrives... Beltaine soon

And perhaps they will meet as clearly a that again.. but she still knows she and the fire are linked... and it is speaking to her.. just not as clearly. A sense of, reassurance?

"Ok." Quietly, agreeing. She stands and stretches, trying to gage the time. And day, for that matter.

She's been asleep for an hour and a half. She can go join wohever on patrol or handle matters here before bed.

She thinks for a moment. Then grabs the maul (which was left right next to her) and heads out into the streets.

Not randomly, however; not exactly a patrol.

She has a destination in mind.

That should make travel more straight forward
