She taps.

He turns an...seeing her, smiles just a bit. He moves to the door, and unlocks it, setting the broom aside.

"Hey."

"Hello yourself, Ocean Eyes" He takes her hands and pulls her in for a kiss

He gets a kiss!

It goes back and forth a bit...this giving and taking of kisses. When they finally part, he says "I heard there were falling Wyverns at the hold. I've been fighting the urge to storm your room"

"I wasn't in my room."

"Not when Wyverns are falling I am sure" He says

"No, I was out there falling with them." A trooper.

A nonplused look, then..adoration ? "Of course you were." A cough "I know you can handle anything, but I have to ask anyway- Are you and is everyone else okay? Mostly the you, but I ask for everyone because you care about them and it makes me look good"

She nods. "No losses on our side. Some on theirs. And no, I don't -really- know who was behind it."

"Can you describe them?" he asks

She does.

She..doesn't quite remember the symbol they wore... they had them but.. argh was a wolf or a dog..or..

She -tries- anyway; struggles. "It's been a long day....."

"It's okay. I'll ask around.." He promises "This..sounds familiar"

"Thanks."

"I didn't come here for that, though."

"My kisses are improving.. Drink?"

She nods.

"Coffee, Beer? Wine or juice?"

"Wine?" A little shyly.

He pours some for both of them and hands her a glass, "Here... and... thank you. Maybe it's the Beltaine speaking, but I missed you"

"Thank you." She sips. "Are you coming? To Beltaine?"

"I mean, you're welcome to. Invited."

"I'll come, but if I end up gazing in your eyes all day like a romantic idiot I hope you'll forgive"

A small grin, sip. "I'll try."

A warm look, "That's the closest thing to pleased with yourself I've seen on your beautiful face ..it's oddly endearing"

"Um. Thanks...."

"Would you mind if, um, I stayed? Or would you like to come up to the apartment?"

"I would love if you stayed.. in fact... " he leads her to the back room "I was saving this for tomorrow but..."

She follows.

She's been in the back room before, spartan... it doesn't reflect much... but it's..different..oh.. candles (Unlit, he wasnt' ready that much) scented body oils... the decore is elegant and and romantic now.

She blinks. "This is different."

"I like your apartment fine, but sometimes a man wants to ..entertain, and impress, I was hopng to steal you away Beltaine night...but ..."

"I'm sorry. Did I spoil things?"

"it amazes me how I didn't realize how spoiled and rotten things were around me until you showed up to provide contrast. My world didn't really have all the colors in it until you arrived"

"Um...." she lavenders, a little. "Kinda don't know what to say."

"Thank you?"

"Thank you is fine..." He says "There was supposed to be a fancy dinner with this..."

"I ate." Pause. "I think."

"Uh huh. When?"

Another pause. "Um. Not sure. I know they told me to eat and I think they brought me something but I fell asleep at some point...."

"Are you feeling hungry at all?" He asks

She does an internal check.... nods a little sheepishly.

"Right.." A nod "Then my lady...what would you like to eat? I'll fetch it, bring it here..and we can have dinner and...well, what we can show each other"

"What about... well, any Baja place. Or that Mediterranean place? Anything, really."

"I know the place.." He kisses her

Her lips taste of wine; sour, heady, promising.

"Mm back VERY soon..I may rob a place just to speed this up"
