She squints as she looks at the sky.

They are trying to capture or kill the Ziz? The King of Birds in the Talmud? Or perhaps, one of it's offspring?

"Well.. all I got is a balloon for two with maybe a rocket I can strap to it..."

Zara can make it out... it's form shifts.. just as the myths are unsure.. and it is certainly not so big that it's egg breaking would flood 60 cities... but it is potent, powerful... and no easy prey. It is clear the eagle must be Clem... assiting... and Earl , of course, flies... and have sided with the Ziz (or Ziz jr?) against the Wyverns and their riders

"We'll use it! Get it out here!" Jessica, frustrated, looks ready to climb up on the roof or possibly start jumping as high as she can......

Zara fusses, looking above, tracking.... and she LOBS a fair fortune at Earl, and another at the Eagle...

And as Zara buys the two time with her magics... Symond, cursing all the way races down ..and comes back, to her credit, pretty quickly with what looks to be an over sized basket with a small deflated baloon attacked "I need you to blow in this tube!" She hands it to Jessica "I'll set up the furking rocket.. and don't blame me if this blows up half way!"

Jessica blows.

It seems that every breath she puts out is magnified, for the balloon fills rapidly . Symond snaps at Zara while she works "You, Bride of Wankenstein, get in the basket so we don't lose any time!"

"I?" A blink and she shakes her head.

"Her?"

BLOW.

"Both of you are going up right? Furk sake I don't even.. both of you get in the baasket I got the rocket ready!"

And the balloon swells to readiness

"Oh furkit, I'll doit myself" Symond steps in "It's a TWO person baloon.. Boss Bluetooth, INTO THE BASKET and we'll go up"

Jessica steps in.

And Symond flips the rocket, and sits down in the basket "FIRE IN THE HOLE!.. I mean.. LAUNCHING!"

Jessica holds on.

WOOOOSH as the rocket powered balloon launches up into the battle zone. Almost immediately, Jessica finds herself being spotted by a Wyvern Rider and his mount "New players, Captain!" A title normally reserved for her sister, "Don't worry, I got her," the armored fellow whirls his harpoon and reaides to attack Jessica with it

Jessica.... has a maul. Not a ranged weapon. "Can you get us closer?" She roars to Symon.

Without waiting for a response, she turns to the foe. "Arise, Storm. North winds blow! South winds blow! Typhoons... Hurricanes... Earthquakes! SMOG!" She calls defiantly and loudly and with a gesture tries to manipulate the element of air....

Jessica roars, then commands the sky !

in a squeeky voice.

And she realizes she's found the flaw of the balloon, despite the fact she was the one who filled it with regular breath, she sounds like she's been sucking helium

Blink.

The Dreaming doesn't seem to mind her voice pitch for the cantrip still works...buffeting the rider and ruining his shot... in fact , he struggles to stay on, allowing plenthy of time for Symond to navigate the balloon closer "It's TEMPORARY " Meaning the voice presumably

"You gonna use that hammer or just kiss em?" Symond snarls as they close like was asked

Jessica judges the distance; -can- she use it?

She can whack a wyvern, she could whack a rider isntead but she risks falling

Knowing Zara is on the ground, and has a soft spot, Jessica risks a swing at the rider.

Risking her neck from a fall, Jessica leans out, then swings at the Rider. And misses!

The Rider snarls and tries a harpoon throw again.

If the balloon can't dodge (she doubts it can), Jessica will try to block the harpoon with her maul.

It would appear Jessica herself is the target....and Jessica sees it come right at her. With a whipping motion of her maul, which she might have seen one of her parents do something similar, she deflects the worst of the harpoon only getting a light scratch. Symond sees the Harpon and grabs it, attaching something and throwing the harpoon head over the side, then she yells "ANCHOR ACTIVATE!"

The Rider looks confused... when suddenly the thing tied to his harpoon turns into an anchor.. a heavy one.. "YOINK!" And he is pulled from his mount , makes the goofy scream, and plummets

"Nice!" Jessica bellows over the sounds of battle and rockets. "Let's get another one!"

Clem and Earl seem to be fighting to cut harpoon chains and prevent threat to the great bird above, but the riders are moving for the kill on them... or would be, as Symond adust pressure... and up the balloon goes. "Closing on one!" And they do.. almost bumping into a Wyvern.

Jessica swings!

Jessica 's swing is mighty! Taking out the rider and knocking him loose... but she also loses balance...it's a controlled loss..and she finds herself tumbling onto the Wyverns Saddle!

Jessica grabs, trying to keep her grip on the maul -and- not lose contact with the saddle and fall!

The Wyvern HISSES and raises it's posoning stinger ...trying to decide if Jessica is to be obeyed, or stung!

Jessica is not the horseman her mother or Dagmar is. She works to swing a leg over and sit up, find the reins, hold her maul.....

When jessica makes no attacking motion against the Wyvern, it seems to decide she's not an enemy.

She struggles upright-ish on the Wyvern and gathers the riens.

Suddenly she's riding a Wyvern... the creature angles and will go any direction she wants.

"Well well, I don't remember recruiting you" The Captain says with a laugh and swoops towards her in her own Wyvern, lowering a spear "Who would have thought lashing a Primordal dream on a mission would be so difficult."

Jessica waits until the Captain attacks, spins and twirls her maul, bunking with the words "Push comes to SHOVE!" to disrupt her efforts just enough.... enough for Jess to get close with the maul.....

Zara watches from below, fussing.

The shove forces the captain to redirect, but she does it smoothly "Easy there, Abraxus" A flash of a grin under the helm "You're a tough one for such a squeeky voiced wench. Try this one... yankity spankity!"

The wedgie is sudden, and like wedgies anywhere, EXTREMELY uncomfortable as Jessica's underwear yanks within her pants. It's the surprise that would normally cause one to fall. But Jessica is a troll, and more than that, she's a PRACTICAL troll...not only does she not let the surprise cause her to lose her grip on her mount, she doesn't even let it slow her down.
