Zara's whisper is a sinister purr. "And, were I to snap you in half - what would happen?"

"She would feel pain, but the pain would pass, and she would know of my destruction. Word would get out, and House Balor have yet another reason to hate you, and the usurpress"

Clem looks over at Jessica at that last slur

"Who would feel pain?"

"I defy..." It says

"Well, I doubt I shall ever have Balor's love. Jessica? My advice is to destroy this. The Balor will want it, surely."

And the cantrip ends. the hateful thing whispering no more

"And it seems I have an uncle. Goody."

"I'm going to buy Hirim and Ratchet a gift" Earl snorts

Clem glows..her heather balm of herself done

Jessica nods. "We can destroy it."

Zara nods and offers it to the trolless.

Feeling more stable, Jessica stands and takes it.

Clem says "Hold still, West ward... " And she puts a hand on Jessica's back, and then raises the other hand to the heavens "Troll Jesus, have mercy on this poor girl... it is not her fault she was not born a DeBuke! It is not her fault she had to do without being one of your chosen. She's still alll right.... so I ask you take her remaining wounds from her... she has been afflicted enough.. can I get an Amen?"

Earl smirks "Amen."

And the remaining wounds vanish from a mighty heatherbalm

Clem smiles beatifically

A sigh and she nods, climbing out of the spring soaking wet in her clothes. "Thank you, Clem. And Fontaine. I appreciate it. I'm going to see if Tito Woden knows how to destroy this."

Jessica takes a step and then..feels a bit distracted... a notion... something about not .. just destroying..

zara notices Earl is healing... but some of those cuts will become scares. now that Clem i up again.. she could finish them without a mess

Fuss fuss... shooing him to a pool.

"I'm fine.. my heart I'm fine.."

Jessica pauses, thinking........?

"Feh."

Clem looks at Zara, her good friend and Grabs her cousin, and noogies him "You getting macho on me?"

"Clem? have yo ulost your damn..." he says stunned

and the bunk takes effect... and his wounds heal

"My gratitude, Clementine."

Clem lets go immediately...then winks at ZZara

"No problem at all. "

"I am going to have baby soft skin for the rest of my life aren't I?" Earl sighs

"Aye. As I like it."

"Sluagh are not into damage, tehy're into decay, as you should well know, Earl. Now..wrinkles and signs of age slowly working it's autumn magic on you? She'll probably think you're even hotter then.. but holes? Mmmph" Clem shakes her head

Earl sighs then chuckles and takes Zara's hands "As you like it."

"Aye." She kisses his knuckles.

And he lowers and stooops so he can bump foreheads softly with her

Jessica looks at the staff in her hands, and at the water in the springs....

"Jessica?"

"Mmm?"

"You seem to have a thought."

"Just... I could break this. Over my knee, probably. And.... add it to the spa?"

Earl blinks "Add it? I .. I thought when you broke it it would be done? there's more?"

A shrug. "Seems like.... well, a shame to waste... whatever....."
