Jessica purples. "As you say, Dame." She rises, nods to all, and heads home......

Now the Gwydion's turn to blsuh "it was meant as a joke. I did so inappropirately... my apollogies..

Ash notes the reaction of both and shakes her head, a bit amused

Still a lavender.... " We'll figure this out, ladies. For now... I'm going back."

Ash follows.

Once it is just she and Jessica, Dame Ash says "I think her apology and embarrassment was sincere."

"I agree."

"Kind of you to offer her a visit. She does seem distressed by Summerstrike's failings...and her own in countering them"

"I hope she serves well at her holding.... and comes to me afterwards if she does not."

"It will be a hard fit" Ash says "So, any more knights coming up to you? Or just that young troll and I so far?"

"We'll see, um, Dame."

"Ash, if you prefer, Jessica. I noticed you like things informal"

"But Lady Knight Aylison LeFlamm when formal" A smile

"I will try to remember."

"And I'll try to remember Countess Jessica Flamefree prefers to be called Jessica. Somehow I think that will be easier. "

"Thank you." Relieved.

Having dropped Shuri off at home, in a safe place, with people..... and got a recipt..... Jess heads home to sleep.

And she sleeps comfortably enough
